As usual, Yorktown dental efficiently checked my family of three in and saw us within our appointment time. Dr Ortiz was honest in her findings and shared her professional recommendations for treatment. I appreciated her respectful responses when I declined to follow through with what was suggested. She states her professional opinion and leaves the decision entirely up to the patient.

I had a broken tooth that Better Smiles in Mahopac said could not be fixed, and an implant was estimated at $5,453. Yorktown Dental (Dr Ortiz) suggested doing a crown. I thought that was a better idea. A root canal was done by another practice, and the crown done by Dr Ortiz. Total cost $3,259. Dr Ortiz did a fine job, which saved me much distress, and a bundle of cash.

The only thing that bothered me was that my 9am appt on a Saturday, i wasnt seen until 930.

The receptionist was amazing. The doctor amazing. The lobby is in desperate need of remodeling. I'm surprised it looked the way it did. I will go for the doctor and staff, but please, fix that first impression of the lobby.

Dr. Howard is quietly competent. The only problem Ruth & I had was when he was cleaning our teeth he reclined the chair fully and the water sprayed all over us. Wetting our clothing & hair. Since it was cold out that day that was not A good thing. In all the years I’ve sat in a Dentist’s chair no other Dentist has done this. My Union the COBA sent us a booklet explaining the benefits they pay for including Dental. No where in the booklet does it say they charge different prices for Medicre recipients. If they continue this practice I’ll notify my Union & have them straighten it out. The practice is discriminatory towards Seniors.

I received a replacement crown for an upper front tooth. I was concerned about getting a good color shade match since it was in a very noticeable location. Dr. Indriolo shared my concern and went beyond my expectations to have the service lab do several reworks until the shading was correct. Each rework required more work on Dr. I's part to install and compare the new crown. He never hesitated to accurately assess the color match and resubmit the crown for more adjustments. There was no extra charge for this extended service. Bravo!
