The entire experience was wonderful! I had a immediate concern with my right eye, and I was able to be seen the same day I called in. I have been going to this clinic since I was young, but had not been in 10 years. Dr Bjore was very kind, reassuring and made sure I understood what was happening with my eye. I am getting the lenses on my favorite pair of glasses replaced; and while I know that staff at Yankee will do a great job, I believe it is a little overpriced considering they’re not new glasses.

I love yankee eye clinic. Have been coming here since I was 18. Now I'm 31. Staff there have always been so kind and professional. I cant think of any better place than yankee eye. I hope to bring my children there one day as well.

My annual checkup is always very well done.

I am getting too many emails from you asking how you did. I filled something out at the office and that should be enough. Otherwise, always a good yearly experience.

Both the pre exam and the regular exam seemed to go well. The results were pretty good so that helps make it all better. The Dr. Explained my condition(s) and provided an option if I desired to consider my own custom made reading glasses. I did have to ask about the optical image screening, and decided to do it, but it may have been passed over if I hadn’t asked. That’s ok - as I knew from previous years that there is an extra charge for that image and that may deter some from doing it. That could be the reason it wasn’t initially offered either.

Great staff and service. Dr Osnes is an excellent Doctor. One suggestion: staff needs to attend to refills on meds. If Dr Osnes is not available, have another Dr do refill. Sometimes we wait 3-4 days for ok on a refill.

The eye exam was great I like the amount of time Dr. Biore takes with me, however I am disappointed in the optical department I have had several things go wrong from getting the wrong prescription in 2 different pair of glasses to never getting phone calls that my glasses are ready, I have to call. Everything about this place is wonderful. The front desk staff is extremely kind, the techs are calm and listen to you, the doctor was extremely knowledgeable and spoke to me in a kind tone (plain language so I know what’s what) and got my contacts prescription right in one try. You wouldn’t think that would be such a challenge but it has been and I so appreciate it being done efficiently. Best eye care experience I’ve ever had. By far.

Dr Osnes was very helpful in helping in determining problem with vision with lense in right eye. Lense will be replaced to match left eye to make glasses work for my condition. My right eyes vision is disturbed by detached retina that caused sight in this eye to be bad.

There was one change that I did not particularly enjoy. I felt kind of pressured by having the optometry sales person come into the office for the end of my appointment and then be turned over to them. I understand why it was done, and am sure it is a good opportunity for the clinic, but felt invasive. Just my opinion.

What I experienced was both the doctors and the person who took the exams was very nice and calm and made me feel calm and welcoming. I really appreciate it.

Everything was handled in a concise professional manner.

The women who started my vision appointment, that does the peripheral test and the basic tests did not have great customer service. She was short, seemed upset and tired the entire time. She offered no small talk, seemed to just want to get me out of there as quickly as possible and then when i was taking the peripheral test just left the room with no warning. Dr. Hegerman was wonderful like always but she needs to be taught how to smile and welcome her patients.

Everything went good except I had an exceptionally long wait to see the doctor or even get into an examination room for the tech prep. I had another appointment I had to cancel due to this delay. Otherwise Dr. Grange and his Assistant were very professional and nice.

I have a great rapport with Dr Rob H. We get along really well. Andrea did a nice job when working with me too. I commented last year , that I don’t like doing the hand written address for post card to mail me I would just rather you text me. I won’t ever pay attention to that post card. I just want you texting reminders. But, your process is to do the post card, so I didn’t wAnt to offend Andrea. I would love to not have to do the post card again. Just text me reminders or updates.

Only reason wasn’t a 5 was my records weren’t sent to doctors office for pre-surgery consult in a timely manner.

A problem I was having in one eye was explained thoroughly and plan for future visits determined saving me a trip to another doctor.

Service was excellent, for both eye exam and in the optical store. I do think the lenses prices are too expensive, will have to look around at other options.

Front desk was very helpful right away and got me started to fill out forms.

I was in to get my glasses adjusted earlier in the week with a man that wore clear glasses and he was very pleasant. Unfortunately he did a poor job adjusting my glasses and I could not even wear them as the week went on. Saturday I went in and had my glasses readjusted and they fit perfectly now. I hope someone can work with him on adjusting glasses because they where more and more painful as the week went on. Thank you Cathy

My appointment was for a pre cataract surgery evaluation and it seems easy enoungh to build this information into the prompts for the schedulers. I would of planned my day differently if I had known. My glasses were fixed well and quickly with that said, there always seems to be an extended wait to see someone in the glasses area.

Being open late on Thursdays is great. I work downtown MPLS and traffic is a real hassel, but knowing I have to 8:00 pm on Thursday to pick up my new glasses took the stress to make it on time away.

Doctors here are very knowledgeable of their field. I have to come back to them coming from another clinic to have them correct my contact lens Rx. Now that my vision insurance is affiliated with Yankee, I don't have to worry!

The exam with Dr. Grange was great. Finding the right pair of glasses took us a while but your staff (Ella) was very kind and patient with us and helped us find ones we liked. The receptionist desk was not very warm and friendly upon our arrival - (had a mix up on the time of the appt, and we were 10 min late)... but later they helped find my insurance info so I could leave the office knowing what I had to pay. Was thankful for that... in hind sight I wished I had a reminder phone call or message to remind us of the time of the appt. Overall, good experience!

Madi, The new optician is wonderful! And Dr. Heggeman, as usual, is wonderful. He’s been my eye doctor for many years now perhaps 15 or 20 years. He’s always kind but professional, very knowledgeable and very good at explaining symptoms and eye problems.

A series of appointments at Yankee Eye went very well. It was for cataracts, so there were a series of important follow up visits. I’m very pleased with the clinic and with the service provided by the Optitions next door. Oh, the transition from blurry and cloudy vision after cataract surgery was like going from VHS to 4K vision! Nice job to all!

Although I don’t I always look forward to my annual eye appointment, I always look forward to seeing Dr. Grange. He is so thorough and knowledgeable. Always answers any questions I may have in depth. I highly recommend him!

I went in for my annual exam and was satisfied with the quality of the exam and doctor I worked with. They understood when I said I wanted to wait until next year to do the camera when I have the HSA card. They also provided me with my glasses prescription and tightened my glasses. However, scheduling the appointment was not so simple. I scheduled it online; and when they gave me a date that worked, they right away followed it up with it being taken already. The next available appointment was not until a much later date.

I liked the doctor told me everything he was doing and why he was doing it. And the woman who helped me pick out glasses was very helpful and honest.

All of the staff was extremely professional. The time was taken to answer all of my questions.👍

Very little wait time so appointment stayed on schedule. Technician wiped the machine off in front of me so I felt confident it was sanitized. It was nice to be back after a 2 plus absence. My previous meeting with a lens/frames manager saying i'll never be back. It was refreshing to see changes had been made and the same eye doctors still there. Very professional and helpful. I will stay with them but question if I will get my next pair of glasses at the optical department. Time will tell!!
