This is our second visit with Steven Herman and both my boys one almost 17 & the other 10 looking forward to appointments with him. They are alittle bummed when the appointment is over. Neither of my son were comfortable at eye appts until meeting Mr. Herman, he right away seen the anxiety and smoothed it over on our first appt. So our next one I was not needed in the room with my youngest. It is so great to leave an appt and still be in smiles & chatting it up 10-15 minutes lates on how much they sure like their eye doc!! They would both still tell you days after to. Plus tell me they dont want no one else. Thanks Steven Herman for your kindness with your professionalism. Sometimes places make you feel like just another customer but you give perfect customer appreciation/service with the right amount of time (as what I think anyhow) so again thank you!!

I was on time but had to wait. The office seemed to be very busy so maybe there were some unavoidable delays, but I wondered if appointments are scheduled with a 15 min buffer waiting time. It seems there has to be better coordination or information about prescriptions being called in and ready. This was my first script at SEHC. I went to Walmart 90 min after I left the office but they said that they had no information about my need. I returned the next day after calling the pharmacy and they said that they were now working on it but when I got there four hours later it was not ready. My recommendation is for SEHC to email or text the client the date and time that the script was given to the pharmacy. Then the client can contact that pharmacy and let them know their opinion of the service. On the positive side, the exam and interactions with staff in the back office were very good. As usual the interactions with Dr. J were enjoyable and her medical explanations were very thorough. Only difference from past experience and very atypical for SEHC was the lack of a greeting from the receptionist who let me wait about 30 seconds as she seemed to be more intent on scrolling something on her personal phone.

I was very satisfied with the exam, but I was there for a total of 2 hrs and 45 minutes. It was explained to me (upon my inquiry) that the doctor was running behind, but I found that to be a little too long for me. Being dilated made it difficult to look for frames , so I felt like I did a lot of waiting

Well I absolutely love Dr. Jackson.. I do however have issues with my glasses.. I bought $200 lens package for a pair of my own frames a few months ago and in the first week I had huge scratches. I came back and got new lenses, but did not put them in due to my concern the next pair will scratch as easily again. I have to say I will not buy glasses from there again. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I had glasses from Walmart for 3 yrs and NEVER a scratch.. I thought you would have a better product, but I was wrong. I will go for care but not glasses ever again. Sorry but I tell people about my dissatisfaction..

Eye appointments have often taken quite a long time and even though Superior Eye Health was short-staffed my recent appointment was the shortest and most efficient I've ever had. Also the eye drops that dilate pupils were less invasive to my vision than they have ever been.

I was disappointed my first two visits after my small town eye-doctor retired because of the following: Big office with lots of passing from one person to another, lots of waiting, felt like a number, fake-seeming smiles and a superficial optometrist who made me feel stupid (Justin awesome tho). I decided to give the office a third chance and not carry in my feelings about the previous visits. I was pleasantly suprised!!! The secretary was nice, the wait was only moderate, the eye assistant was very down to Earth and efficient, Dr. Jackson did a great exam and explained my options not pressuring me to choose one over the other, and the Optometrist/secretary was super nice and all the staff seemed happy to be working there! This appointment did have increased wait time (for which both Dr. J and at least two of her staff offered immense apology).

Had an appointment on Monday, April 29th. While I was waiting I started to feel ill. When I was called in, I told the lady (sorry, I can't remember her name) that I wasn't well didn't think I could go through the exam. She very kindly told me that was okay and made another appointment for me. This was much appreciated and I will thank her properly when I see her on the 14th of May.

I really appreciated all the time that was spent trying to get my bill down, running different frames and special offers to see what the cost would be. When all you need is cheap frames to hold the lenses in place and generic Rx sunglasses, $500 is a lot to swallow.

I was impressed with the efficiency of the staff. I never waited long, was moved from step to step quickly, and everyone was so friendly. And for the first time in years no one made me feel like I was less important because I didn't have much money to spend on new glasses and went with something basic. I really appreciated that.

Dr. Johnson is the best! The front of the house staff could stand to pick up their customer service skills as they are more harsh, rude and just very rushing the customer.

Support staff were prompt and efficient. Dr. Johnson was thorough and professional while at the same time treating me as an individual. When I called with a follow-up question they were patient and helpful. I feel confident in the care I received.
