I was very comfortable during my exam at Snoqualmie Eyecare. The assistant explained everything she was doing as she measured and tested my eyes. The doctor, who was new to me, was very friendly and encouraging -- I was concerned that my eyes had gotten worse, but after her exam she was able to assure me that my eyesight hadn't changed hardly at all and I would not need a new pair of glasses. All in all, a very positive experience.

Dr. N is very thorough. I didn't feel rushed and she took the time to answer my questions. I would definitely recommend seeing her.

Polite, knowledgeable staff with good "people skills" who take the time to BE with customers...the only thing i'll say for you to consider is that the woman who did my eye measurements (the RN who is certified in optometry) though polite, professional and forthcoming - answered my questions with "big words" - technical words that i did not understand - like myopia and others. She did not then offer to explain what the technical or pathophysiological term meant. Her answers to my questions would require me to prompt her to explain myopia, etc... (I'm an RN myself and Pt education is central to my role, so I speak with experience.) In educating Pt's one should use understandable language that is at the beginner level or whatever level the Pt is at. AND - she should be asking the Pt "any questions? " or "Do you understand?" I actually found myself feeling shy about asking her to explain more simply...

Everyone was very friendly and professional. I would rate them very highly. I did leave without a copy of my prescription for which I will have to return. I would like to have had a better visual comparison and understanding between my old prescription and new before I spent over $600 to buy new updated lenses for my glasses. I would have appreciated a demonstration and or recommendation from the doctor whether new lenses were in his opinion medically or optically necessary considering the difference and probable expense of new lenses or could I wait for awhile. God or bad this helps form an opinion about their business practices and whose best interest they serve. While I was very happy and satisfied with my experience I'm not an expert in this field and must rely heavily on their recommendations or lack of. This comment is not a complaint but an observation and feedback which may benefit future patients.

Good experience. The waiting room and staff is nice. The doctor took time and didn’t seem in hurry. If there were one thing to improve it would be to reduce the number of reminder emails, texts, and phone calls. There were a LOT and I confirmed 2-3 times.

I was unhappy about being asked to sign a waiver for my existing frames. I was using frames , previously purchased at SVE, and having new lenses put in. The waiver was, "in case anything happened at the lab. " If something happensto my frame at the lab, I would expect the lab to take care of it. Other than that, the service, as usual, was spectacular and top drawer.

The entire staff worked together to help me get my glasses within 24 hours after I had lost my old pair. I had no other options and everyone really helped me a lot.

I was surprised at the questions asked prior to seeing the doctor especially measuring my glasses; all this information is on the electronic health record. It made me wonder if this was standard procedure because I still waited an especially long time to see the doctor. At the Snoqualmie Clinic, I am seen immediately, asked if any information has changed, a review of my issue and Dr. Duvall arrives as scheduled; this is much more efficient and respectful of my time. I did like Dr. Livingston; she is very knowledgeable.

The only issue I had was overcharge of over $100 at front desk on my contact lens order. Luckily she caught and corrected before the charge hit my credit card. The same thing happened last year with my contact lens order and it was difficult to resolve due to a new charge system.
