I was very disappointed in the length of my appointment. I didn't even have a refraction and I was there for over 1 1/2 hours. My eyes had to be dilated and I sat for 45 minutes after dilation before seeing the doctor for all of five minutes. The first young lady to do the glaucoma test was very new to the job and should have been shadowing instead of on her own in my opinion. I havd hone her for ten years but am considering a change befoynext year's appt. it is apparent that they book too close together and a large staff turn over.

Front Office help was the best! Back room assistant that I talked with was the best! After the assistant left I fell asleep wating in the chair - should have looked at the time cause seemed over one hour I was waiting to be seen by the eye guy waiting in that chair. Was not too impressed that he could not take the time to listen nor did he brief the notes in my record before he made his presence and then he left in a flash.. I told the eye guy I have been having daily pain in my left eye and lirritation / thought I could have gotten something for my eye pain and irritation.

I love the personnel at the office and Dr Z did a great job on my eyes but I do believe that my wait in the office was overly excessive. My appointment was at 210pm and I didn't leave until 330 pm most of my wait time was for someone to remove my eye stitches. I almost needed to reschedule as I had to be somewhere else st 4 pm.

Reassured me, then quickly moved on to talk about available surgery/necessity of cataract surgery. Aside from that, staff provided moral/fiscal support by providing me info on City senior transport at 1/5 what I’d paid to get to Clinic that day. My thanks for their thoughtfulness!!

I had hoped that when you moved, it would be to a location with easy access, as the location by Marian was not exactly confidence-inspiring (the elevator) and we were frequently shunted around from floor to floor. The new location is an improvement, at least.

The injection and did it wait long

Dr. Bylsma is fantastic. However, the wait times are very, very long before even being seen by anyone. That part is hard for not only me, but for the person who drives me to the appt. Can something be done to alleviate some of the waiting time?

Technically, the business went well. However, I didn't get a chance to discuss my strabismus problem very much with the doctor. Also, some of the girls doing the routine examination work seemed cold and unfriendly. I am still facing decisions about my strabismus problem and don't really know what to do.

As always I was greeted with a welcoming hello. My wait time was less than 15 minutes prior to scheduled appointment time. Dr. Dan,was courteous, professional and caring. He answered my squesrions and explained the steps to be taken during the procedure. It made my visit very comfortable and I am always glad to recommend Shepard Eye the place to go to for great care and service

Best advice I could give you would be too have more than one person that handles contact lenses. Many times I have had to wait in office or for a call back to deal with my contacts. The woman in charge is super helpful and friendly you just need someone else there that can help as well.

Very pleasantly welcomed upon arrival. The receptionist was very efficient in taking care of each arriving client. Did not have to wait long: delays happen in life, so on-time appointments are a bonus. I enjoyed meeting each technician, and of course, it is always great to see Dr. Z!

The thoroughness of my exam was deeply appreciated. The prescription I received was totally different from the one I have and I can hardly wait to order a new set of glasses.

The front office staff was very friendly and efficient; the gentleman who prepped me for Dr. Bylsma was very nice and seemed well-versed in his job, but I felt it was a very long appointment to be seen by the doctor for what seemed only to be about five to 10 minutes, or so. I was there for almost an hour and a half because of dilation...In fact, without calling, I have no idea if my prescription changed and by how much, other than maybe increased strength for reading. I was told that there weren't any problems though... I just left feeling the doctor was in a hurry..,
