I have been going to Sacramento Optometrics Group for over 20 years. The optometrists always provide excellent service and pay attention to your medical history. The office staff and everyone who works there really cares about the customer. I feel like part of the family when I’m there.

The visit is always on time and very well explained.

Dr. Zakazaki is the best optometrist I have ever seen. He not only is great at getting my prescription correct, he actually cares about my eye health. He is in a class by himself. They also have the best equipment to check your eyes of any office I have ever visited.

I have always been received with courtesy and kindness and excellent examinations of my eyes!

I received a very thorough eye exam on short notice because I'd been seeing some "flashing lights" recently and was concerned. The doctor who examined me did everything he could to determine that I was in no grave danger and clearly explained to me as he went along what he was looking for, even showing me a diagram of the eye to help me understand. I really appreciate being able to be seen first thing Monday morning after having called the emergency number on the weekend. I was completely reassured by the doctor that my thinning retina was in a stable condition and felt comfortable waiting until 6 weeks have passed before seeing the doctor again as was recommended. Overall, I appreciate the high quality care I received on my most recent visit!

I liked the new doctor, he was well informed and very nice. I don’t like how things continued to be up charged. I appreciate that running a practice is expensive, but to charge for things that are now part of normal care does not encourage me to continue to come to this practice.

Dr. Soo Jin Noh is wonderful! She is so knowledgeable and friendly. I always have a comfortable and positive experience at my annual exams. The Optician, Leanne, was extremely helpful and took her time to show me all of my available options. My insurance coverage only allows new glasses every two years, so Leanne went above and beyond providing different options for me and making the whole experience simple.

Quickly in & out. Eyes good glasses cleaned & tightened. Who could ask for anything more.

Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Eyewear selection is good. I noticed recently that all the eyewear glasses had prices -which I thought was a good idea. My sales associate,Cheryl, let me know my deductible from the start. Also a good idea. I only have one complaint - and it has to do with check out. I think the receipts need to be itemized. Two years in a row, I’ve asked for a receipt and was gladly given one, but it has only been the total with no break down of service or product purchased. With a break down of services on the receipt, any indescrepancies or questions regarding services could be taken care of before leaving the building. That is my two cents. Terre Terzakis

Receptionist we’re very helpful. The doctor was great. Answered my questions very rare for me.

The optometrist was wonderful! She took her time and was great about explaining the process. However, the parking lot was difficult to navigate due to the fact that the parking lines were almost invisible. When I mentioned this to the staff, they blamed the property manager. The staff admitted that they had often heard the complaint. Really, this is a business that is supposed to help folks see. This needs to be fixed!

I always look forward to the very thorough and informative eye exams. This visit was no exception. Excellent care both on the exam side and the eyewear side. Thank you.

I’ve been a patient for 40 years. I’ve had contacts, laser eye surgery after care & glasses. Dr Sakazaki explains tests and options clearly. He is always proffessional and friendly. Their eye glass department next door has a great selection of glasses. Recently I tried the digital progressive glasses & I like them. A big difference from regular progressive or bifocals. Their downtown location has been easy to access & has free parking.

Ken has been my eye doctor for many years and has been excellent. Yesterday was no different. Sacto Optimetric is a very good Optometry facility.

Dr. Katrina Gallardo - Chang makes sure you understand the nature and health conditions of your eyes. She explains everything in detail along with keeping your eyes healthy as you age. She's professional and personable. She's an awesome doctor.

I really liked my doctor. She explained things well and listened to what I had to say. I am confident in her diagnosis and have recommended that my husband go see her.

Everyone is always friendly and there is hardly any waiting time. Drs. Are very knowledgeable and always make the examination comfortable. When selecting new glasses the 2 woman that help us are very friendly and always have good recommendations on what glasses will look and feeling comfortable. They are also very honest on what looks good or not. We have been coming here for about 10 yrs. or more and will not go any where else. We live in Elk Grove and are retired and will not change because of distance. We prefer good customer service and professional attitude over saving on driving distance. We enjoy coming here and will not change.

Loved Dr. Gallatdo. We would like more transparency in the billing so we know exactly what we are being billed for and would like written prescription to take with us so if we are traveling and lose our glasses or contacts we can get an emergency replacement.

He always provides thorough answers to any questions and sound recommendations on anything to watch out for or anything a patient should change. I have been a patient for 30 years and my daughters also are patients. In addition, the office staff is always friendly and provide excellent customer service.

Since we have retired and are driving 60 miles round trip on mostly I-80 from where we now live, for our appointments, we decided to get someone closer to where we live. People who know I-80 traffic see where we are coming from. We are also getting a new dentist in Rocklin as the one we have been with since 1992 in Sacramento is retiring this Fall. My appointment began with very little wait time, and the initial eye exams before seeing the doctor went well. Dr. Noh was friendly and pleasant, as usual, and she did a very thorough eye exam, explaining to me the results of her tests as she went along. The woman who helped me select eyeglasses, made me feel like she really wanted to help me find what I was looking for; she was very encouraging and helpful. There was little wait time, as well, when I was ready to leave. Overall, my annual eye exam proved to be a very positive experience!

The assistant was very helpful and patient with me when she gave a “refresher” lesson on how to put contacts in and take them out. Dr. Gallardo has a great “chairside” manner. She is friendly yet professional . She also told me about all my options and helped me to make a decision about choosing one or two contacts, reading glasses and other decisions I had to make for my vision. I also had Cherilyn adjust the nose pads on my glasses. She made them perfect and according to Dr. Gallardo’s suggestions. Overall, my visit was very pleasant and my vision needs were met successfully.

Everyone was so nice and helpful! Exam was very thorough and the doctor made sure I understood what she was saying. The only thing I would recommend is to provide the prescription (honestly I forgot to ask but it would have been nice for them to just provide it without asking). Also, while making a purchase of the frames it would be nice to have a copy of the itemized prices instead of just a receipt of the grand total, that way you have a breakdown of exactly what you paid for and what discounts you were given from your insurance. My overall experience was very pleasant, it was my first time going in a long time!
