Going to the dentist gives me a shaking anxiety, I start to feel it as soon as I get in the building. Well I felt that away when I when in, but after meeting the staff, and how professional they were I calmed down , it also helped that I knew Mia. Your office was so clean and didn’t smell like a dentist office, thank you for that. I just might go back 😬

Dr Shimizu was excellent as always. Although much better than last time my cleaning still seemed unusual. No rinsing (ill ask next time). Apparently the sink was broken anyway. The staff was wonderful as always.

I actually had a pleasant experience at Riley. I don’t think I’ve ever said that about the dentist before. I came in with a chipped front tooth. I was expecting the worst and they just fixed it. No shot no pain just restored my tooth to looking better than before I chipped it. I have more dental work to be done and I have no reservations about letting the Riley dental group do it.

Everything was fine. It usually/always is. I typically have nothing different to say from visit to visit. It is nice to be asked for feedback and nice to know that you care about how you are doing, but honestly, I find it a little annoying to receive a survey after every visit. It seems like one more chore in a never-ending list of chores. I am probably a dinosaur, but I give little credence to people's yelp reviews of things and I don't really care what somebody thought of a movie or restaurant or doctor unless I know that they have similar criteria to mine.

I’ve always distanced myself from going to the dentist because of terrible fear. A had a broken tooth and had to finally make myself go in. My experience the day of my visit was exceptional, I felt little to no pain. I was truly amazed and was greatful to the dentist who worked on me for her patience with me and her gentlenous with all my fears. I have more follow up appointments and I can now say I’m not afraid to go in.

Everyone was kind and professional as usual, but my situation is getting a little frustrating. What started as a crown replacement on 4/23 is still not resolved. Nobody's fault, I guess, but the tooth could not be saved, I had to have an extraction, then had impressions for a permanent bridge, came in to have it cemented and the Dr. did not like the healing of he socket, had to have 3 referrals back to the oral surgeon, one of those involving some debriding oral surgery, and on one appointment my car was hit in his parking lot. Then came in for this appointment to finally have the permanent bridge cemented and now it does not fit right and has to go back to the lab and I have another appointment in 3 weeks.

As always my hygienist was great. Almost fell asleep, so gentle...

I met w Dr. Shimizu due to an infection w accompanying pain in lower gum. An XRay was taken. He provided me w a prescription for antibiotics and a referral to a specialist. Dr. Shimizu's staff are all top-notch. Very polite and professional. Very appreciative of them all.

I already responded once re yesterday's visit. You ask for info about what you did well. After submitting that, you do not ask about what you did not do well or ask about anything that might be criticism, constructive or otherwise - so I am responding again. I usually don't have anything negative to say, but I would like to give feedback that I think 3 appointment reminders in the week prior to an appointment is overkill and unnecessary. And I have thought that for a long time, but I guess there is never a place to comment on that. I seldom have to wait long in the waiting room, and did not have to wait long this week, but I did have to wait quite a while after cleaning for the dentist's check-up. I was very sad to learn that Dr. Riley is now working only one day per week. I have so liked his work and him personally that I may now have to re-evaluate staying with your office. And as above, your survey is not designed to elicit all relevant information.

Good experience. Nice office. I am under terrible pain and it has been difficult to handle it. Neurologist is taking his time and it has been two or three weeks of pain in my neck so it is difficult to be an active patient at this time. My sense of humor is gone and it has been a difficult time dealing with my teeth problem. It will get better.

I've been going to the Riley Group, for over twenty yrs. Now my kids go. Very family oriented. They make you feel comfortable. Never rushed. My greatest fear is listening to the drill, always afraid ,the dr. May Slip, but he doesn't. I trust him, that's why we've been their so long.🤣

Everything was good, and I especially appreciated the excellent communication skills and sense of genuine caring of all of the staff, from the receptionist to the dentist. I also liked that the parking is very convenient and the office is very clean and feels up to date. The only change I'd recommend is turning up the thermostat; it was like being in a refrigerator. But otherwise a very positive experience!

Diane changed the order of how she usually does the cleaning. She took extra care to be careful around the areas that were sensitive and did a good job in being thorough while also quick. She didn't give me too much of a hard time for not flossing as often as she would like me to while also reminding me the importance of proper dental hygiene.

My hygienist was thorough and efficient. I didn't have to wait, she got started right away, and I felt that she checked all areas needed.

As a child I had terrible experiences at the dentist. Dr. Shimizu and his lovely assistants have always put me at ease, even in my most anxiety filled moments. This time I went in for a cavity/ fill and as usual he was kind, personable, and ready to rock and roll. Lupe (his previous assistant) had been there for years and was instrumental in helping me overcome my fears. Dr. Simizu's new assistant is just as kind and personable and seems to fit right in. The office staff is always nice and effecient and I always recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a dentist.
