Receptionist was delightful when I called with my problem and understood my urgency t to see doctor today. Dr Planchard is the best and we drove 100 miles for his expertise. All the staff was courteous and professional.

Kallie performed my exam and was amazing, totally professional and patient as she took me through the test procedures to determine if I was a candidate for cataract surgery. All indicators said yes and better vision is less than 20 days away. Dr Planchard is a class act as well. His skills were known to me from friends he has helped before I scheduled my appointment. My trust level is high and I am looking forward to a successful procedure.

Everyone was friendly and Dr Planchard takes the time to ask how I'm doing and answer all my questions. On the occasion of this visit he was running almost an hour late. I have had this happen on other occasions but not every visit. I expect to be seen with 20min of my scheduled appt time. Had a great day with the Eye Doctor and his staff. This was the first time I was comfortable while getting eye drops. The nurse technique for administrating the drops was very effective.

Waiting time was a longer than I expected. Next time I will take the day off instead of going to work late. Appointment at 8:50 and left close to noon

years back--my husband worked at the plywood plant in Springhill,La. and came in complaining he had something in his eye,the eye doctor in Sarepta, would not touch it and referred us to Dr Thomas. Planchard. He got the splinter of wood out without any damage to the retina. I said if I ever had anything happen to my eyes,that is who I wanted. Then one day it did happened , my retina tore.When I called and told them of my symptoms, and I needed an appointment, they said how far away do you live. My reply, an hour away. They made the appointment exactly one hour.Soon as I told them who I was, they sent me straight to the back for laser treatment. Dr. Thomas Planchard saved my eye from blindness.That was eight years ago. I go Tuesday for cataract surgery. Very confident that he will do his job with excellence. Upon my first, I was sooo nervous and worried that I didn’t feel comfortable... .. Once my name was called, everything changed !! Absolutely everything!!!
