I was expecting several days for recovery, however except for knowing I had a procedure and the feeling of a slight bruise when biting pressure is applied I’m not experiencing any discomfort. Pinellas Endodontics saw me on an emergency basis. I needed a root canal and was in excruciating pain. After Dr Whitaker numbed my mouth, he started on the root canal. I was really impressed at how gentle Dr Whitaker was. I did not feel any pain during the procedure and would recommend Pinellas Endodontics to anyone needing a root canal. The entire staff is very friendly and they make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in the door.

My visit was good. Professional staff; and Dr. Nick Williams was excellent! Problem was diagnosed promptly, and treatment was thorough and efficient. Felt bad that he had to use more pain killer than normally required. He was very patient with making sure I was comfortable during the procedure. Satisfactorily answered all of my questions about procedure. Would go to him again if needed; but hope it won't be necessary.

I went in to Dr Whittaker with extreme pain and very nervous. I was immediately put at ease by the whole staff. Everyone from the receptionist to the Doctor were absolutely amazing. Dr. Whittaker really took his time explaining everything to me and was very gentle. It is obvious from the moment you walk in the door that your comfort is their main priority. I would recommend them to all my friends and family. I can’t say thank you enough.

I’m a big chicken when it comes to anything dental but the office staff was great did everything to make me feel comfortable. Never waited more than 10 minutes in waiting room and Dr. Williams personally called the next day after every procedure to check in.

I went for a root canal, very nervous about it. Dr. Wiliams is one of the most gentle, knowledgeable, professional, congenial, thorough dentists I have ever met. His assistant, Babette, is exactly the same way. I was very nervous about this route canal for no reason. I was in and out in 25 minutes and was treated with respect and sympathy. Dr. Wells was very informative about why and what was going on with my tooth and, for me to say that there was absolutely no pain, I understand that this is written by the biggest crybaby on your break when it comes to pain. I can unhesitatingly recommend this office and Dr. Williams as the best endodontist I’ve ever been to and the best dentist I’ve ever been to. To top things off, Dr. Williams himself called me the next morning to see how I was feeling. That sealed the deal. I was with a high axiety level, being the previous dentist work on this tooth for hours and had pain on occasion during the crown preparation. I too fear Dentists. But Dr Gustavo J Wiscovitch and his assistant made me feel so comfortable my anxiety level dropped of which allowed me to relax as the root canal was in the workings. This process was a lot faster than I expected. Than you all for making me feel so comfortable and pain free. I give ur treatment a 10++++ thanks ever so much.

That molar of mine was all l could think about. Eating was excruciatingly painful. Would wake up with sharp jabs from the tooth. Something had to be done. I read over the Google sites on endodentistry and self-referred myself to Dr David Whitaker's practice. His staff got me in the very next day. It actually took two visits as the swelling was so bad. Dr W did an obviously thorough job, taking the time he needed to do it right. No root canal is pleasant, but this practice makes it as comfortable as possible.

suggestions: when the patient requests nitrous oxide it might be for pain and anxiety...some things are anxiety producing...like being told to just swallow normally when you now have just had a mouth shield put in place (new experience for sure) ...more interaction with the new patient like..."I'm going to keep your mouth suctioned out and if you have any trouble please let me know" would have been more assuring. Also when I was told to inhale thru my nose and exhale thru my mouth and the rubber mouth shield is pressed around my entire mouth and the only exhale spot is thru the small opening which the procedure is being done this makes exhalation difficult and laborious. The doctor caught onto this and opened a small area of the seal on the opposite side of my mouth. The doctor did very well on communicating and informing me during the procedure. Thank you for a job well done.
