From the moment I got there I was treated wonderfully. My eye appointment was one of the most thorough that I have ever had, it was easy and I felt very comfortable the entire time. Great visit, as always! Dr. Major is always amazing at explaining everything and putting it in terms that I can understand. I decided to get some new glass and Shaina helped me out. She was also amazing!! She asked what kind of glasses I was looking for and was able to match me with a pair right away. Very sweet and conversational!

My visit to Piedmont EyeCare Associates was quite pleasant. The visit was quick but did not feel rushed. Everyone was very friendly and professional. All tests were explained well, and explanations of results were sufficiently detailed without being overwhelming. I particularly liked the demonstration of what my current prescription corrects to vs what my old prescription corrects to. It made seeing the difference very obvious. I didn't realize my eyes were straining that much. I would be glad to recommend this practice to anyone who would like to ensure they have the best eye health and vision correction available.

Saw Dr Phillipe for the first time today. I have very dry eyes that take away from enjoyment of sometimes daily activities. I have been to two other Opthalmologists about my problem and have never received the thorough testing and adequate steps to alleviate my problem. I just saw him today and am going back but feel that I have a plan in place to help me manage the dry eyes. The front desk staff were extremely efficient and helpful. And the medical assistants were great as well 5 stars!!!

Dr. Phillip is was very thorough with my exam. He knows my family eye history and discusses what precautions I need to take to avoid macular degeneration. Shaina helped me to choose glasses and sunglasses. She listened to my requests as far as size and shape of glasses. She was patient as I tried on many different pairs and helped me to make my final selections.

My appointment today was a very pleasant experience. From the technician who was caring and professional, Dr Major, who was very understanding and tried to find answers to my concerns and finally to Julian Velasco who has been helping me in the optical department for the past 6 years. I had a great experience at Piedmont Eyecare. I was happily greeted by the ladies at the front desk (Porsha & Teresa) and seen quickly by my tech, Kristie, for my intake tests/initial evaluation. The wait time was only a few minutes and the staff that assisted me were all fantastic from Porsha at the front desk to Stefanie who walked me back to the exam room, took some vitals and did a couple of pre screening tests before seeing Dr. Patel. It was no different when I met Dr. Patel. She was friendly, thorough and extremely knowledgeable. She took the time to answer my questions about eye fatigue and progressive lenses and she made some much appreciated health suggestions to preserve my eyesight. Everything went well with our appointments, from check in, the pre exam testing, the exam with Dr Hayward -- and the optical department assisted with making choice frames without being pushy and overbearing. That makes all the difference in the world to me, I've left other practices because the optical staff were unpleasant, obnoxious or just too pushy and in your face. We'll see how they do making my new glasses with the accurate prescription! Keeping my fingers crossed that they are perfect!

Everything went fine except after the initial pressure check of my eyes and going to the room and the update of my information on the computer I was told that intern would be in in just a Minute. I waited almost 30 minutes for the intern to come in and even then it was because the lady that took me in the room put her head in the door and said has the intern been in here yet? and I said no. So other than that everything was fine. the receptionist, The eyewear specialist and Dr. Phillippeall all good. And the girl that took me to room was great.

Facility is clean and the process is efficient. Office staff isn’t exceptionally friendly, but not rude either. Karen, my nurse, was proficient, but definitely could have been friendlier. I had an appointment with Dr. Philippe this afternoon for dry eye follow up. The girls at the front desk - Porsha and Shaina are so very welcoming. Stephanie took me to an exam room to do different tests and measurements on my eyes and she was very efficient and friendly! Kellie helped me out with contact lenses and was very knowledgeable and friendly! There is a theme at this office of friendliness and putting the patients at ease for sure. Anthony and Annricka both, independently, were very helpful, calm and knowledgable answering my questions. Not positive that Anthony could ever be rattled about anything or any of the equipment that he quickly and correctly used to measure my eyes. Fun to watch a pro at work. Annricka took a pair of glasses that I was wearing, ones not from your line-up, very carefully meansured them, looked at my latest eye exam results and then explained, in great understandable detail why my glasses had not "worked" for me while I was wearing them the previous year.. Very insightful, and very much appreciated. Shelly was also very professional and friendly at the same time. She is also a top notch representive of the entire practice. In particular, she was not too busy to answer, very professionally, several questions that I had during my visit. Her responses were very much appreciated. If I could do anything to improve a process, I would do the following. This visit I learned that the time for Cataract surgery had arrived. In order to get ready, I needed to start two procedures to prepare my eyes. No problem, except the following. I got the two medicines and the procedure to use them explained. I could not remember which procedure went with which medicine, so I would have liked to have had a piece of paper to write it down, or a small handout detailing the procedure for each of the different meds along with the number of times per day required, etc.. (Us jet jocks can sometimes be slow.) I was able to purchase one of the meds at my visit, a very good idea to save time and searching. I was also referred and the referral doctor's office called and we set the initial appointment. A long session taking eye measurements, and then anoter very professional doctor and staff, which was great. The fly in the ointment was that this office, doing the surgery, uses different med than Dr Johnson's office, so I had to purchase different meds and somewhat different procedurs to use them. I am guessing that when the surgeries are over, and when I re-visit Dr Johnson for follow-up, that I will be able to use all the meds from both offices. Quick summary, Great help from the Staff. Dr Johnson, as always, very clear in telling me what is going on over the years. I trust him. Those are 2 very positive reasons I have been with the practice for years. The meds and procedures is a simple handout, no problem. Might also make sense to check with the Cataract Surgery practice and match the meds. The meds seem to do the same thing for the same reason. Really also appreaciate this opportuninty to thank everyone for their professionalsm.

Lily has done a great job helping me replace my glasses that were damaged beyond repair. I appreciate the discount she offered since my insurance doesn’t help but every other year! Upon delivery, she made sure they fit perfectly, were clean, and always had a friendly smile!

It was my first time at the eye doctor ever! I’m 40 something and have never had vision problems or have worn glasses! Wonderful and friendly staff right when you walk in the door. Jerika in the front office was so friendly and welcoming! Dr. Johnson was wonderful. Made me feel very comfortable and explained the process and procedures of the appointment every step of the way! Kristie, Dr. Johnson’s assistant lead me through all the vision tests. Enjoyed working with her! She explained everything in detail. I needed glasses and also decided to get contacts. Lisa spent over 2 hours with me on how to use contacts. I was so nervous! She was absolutely wonderful and so sweet! She calmed my nerves and was so patient with me! Visit for a large family went smoothly. Jerika and Porsha were welcoming, accommodating and pleasant. The childrens' Tech experience was slightly different for each, however both were fine. Stephanie was very warm and nice with the kids too. Dr. Johnson is great, we love him and the kids are comfortable with him.

The Wesley Chapel staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Stacy at the front desk was able to pull up my appointment history from a couple years ago so I could decide what tests to take. Karen was friendly and efficient while giving me the tests. Dr. Rebecca Major was great in trying to find the best contacts to fit my needs.

My husband and I both had appointments at your office in Blakeney and we highly recommend Piedmont EyeCare. My husband had been to another optometrist in the past and wanted to try someplace new because he wasn't completely satisfied. This was my first appointment with an optometrist and I have been putting off getting prescription glasses for years. We moved back to NC almost three years ago and needed our annual eye exams. I stopped in Piedmont Eye here in Wesley Chapel and because we both work they scheduled a Saturday appt for both my wife and I. This past Saturday my wife and I arrived Piedmont Eye for our early morning 8am appointments. We were warmly greeted with warm smiles from Porsha and Julian. We then both were examined by Dr Patel whom was so professional yet kind and very detailed. My wife purchased two pairs of glasses which will be arriving over the next couple of weeks. One was a brand new pair and the other just lens replacements. Personally, my eyes had remained the same since my last visit some 3 years ago. (Yes!) No additional eye ware needed. Your receptionist greeted me warmly, even offering me water. Your eye tech put me immediately at ease. I think her name was Gina...it had been 7 years since my last exam, and I was nervous. She made me feel comfortable immediately as she explained what was going to happen, and what the various machines were for. What. An. Experience. I. Had! I do not normally go to this office, but let me tell ya I will never go anywhere else. I immediately felt at home when I walked through the doors. It seems like every doctors appointment that I go to I end up waiting for 20-30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. But to my surprise, when I finished removing my contacts, I found Karen WAITING for ME! (so sorry I disappointed you Karen, I'll be speedier next time) Let me tell you about my girl Karen. To say she exudes excellency is insulting to Karen. I have seen many nurses, but Karen takes the freaking cake for the best of all times (not even sure if that's her official title but we are gonna roll with it). Sarcasm aside, Karen is fantastic at her job and deserves a raise. She's very nice and efficient and didn't make me have uncomfortable small talk which is always a perk. I don't even think I waited a full minute before Dr. Black graced me with his presence. I normally go the the blakeney location, and the dr I usually see is so crusty. Most male doctors I have had in my life are somewhat crusty, but to my surprise Dr. Black with his Jake McDorman appearance was the farthest thing from crusty. He seems like an all around cool dude. Very professional. The type of guy that you initially would want to grab a beer with, but then you remember that he's a doctor and way smarter than you so you flake last minute because you're lowkey intimidated and anxious that you are gonna look dumber than a ham sandwich. We had a nice chat about how I have no idea what I want to do with my major/life, which was enjoyable because self deprecating humor is my one and only specialty. (see what I did there lol) He also really seems to know what he is doing which is always a plus. He deserves a raise for not being crusty and being very proficient in his work. I kinda doubt you're still reading this, but I hope you are because here comes the best part. I hope you're at the edge of your seat. When I left, I asked to have my sunglasses fixed. An angel sent from above named CHRIS made my sunglasses form perfectly to the bridge of my nose. It took her probably 14 seconds to do so and my life will never be the same. I haven't taken them off since. I am typing this indoors with my sunglasses on. I might sleep in them just to have Chris fix them with her magic powers. Pardon my french, but Chris is the baddest bitch of all time. She has the discipline of Michelle Obama during her arm workouts, the skill level of Shaun White on the half pipe, and the sheer looks of Jennifer Lawrence. Give them all a raise because they are all great workers. Hope you enjoyed my review!!!!!

I was a new patient. Reception opened the doors 10 minutes early for me even though the office opens at 8AM. Received a $5 GC for completing forms prior to visit. Tech was prompt and administered all tests with great clarity. Did not have to retake any tests. Equipment used was clean and modern. Tech and Dr. Patel spent a combined 1 hour for my appointment. They were very caring, explained conditions in relatable terms, and were very down to earth. I felt very comfortable throughout the visit, got all my questions answered and did not feel one bit rushed. Best eye care specialist in Charlotte!

Julian V was great. I walked in, great nicely, provided a Boyle of water and waited about 2 minutes before Julian greeted me. My glasses broke on the arm attached to the lense. He looked at it and repaired it in about 5 minutes. No charge. I did not think it could be repaired. Great service.

Kris was great to work with. She was very knowledgeable about my prescription and helped me find the perfect sunglasses. Kris was able to keep me in budget and helped me select a frame that worked best for my face shape and for the glasses' purpose. Very good...only suggestion...I don't like it when the 'assistant' (in any office) picks up my file, then says "hi Tom". I usually have to say "You know my name, but i don't know your name!" Part of the training should be to always introduce yourself first to the client. It strikes me as strange when a stranger addresses me by name without identifying who they are first. Just a small thing that happens in a lot of places!

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Patel. She is thorough and takes the time to listen. In addition, I will keep returning to this office for the wonderful attention given by the opticians.

This was the shortest waiting time ever. I was very pleased with how quickly I was taken back to have a battery of eye tests and then I did not even have time to open my book while waiting for the doctor (doctor's assitant in training tested my eyes, i believe). In the past I have been in the office for over 2 hours for my regular eye exams and this time I was in and out in a little less than one hour.

The staff at Piedmont Eye Care in Blakney is very kind and professional. Dr. Rebecca Majors is by far the best optometrist doctor in the state.

Had a great annual exam with Dr. Patel. She was very friendly and explained my eye exam results to me in a way I could understand.
