I had a great experience with Dr. Cartwright. He is always so efficient and skillful. The front waiting room was following distancing guidelines. However, the back room was filled with patients. Not distancing. The staff was very helpful and told me I could wait in the front waiting room. I was so thankful for the staff who is putting their own lives on the line. Very pleased with Dr. Cartwright.

Then the beautiful evaluation tests and vision progress follow ups done by Dr. Crockett, man, it just can’t get any better. Highly recommended doctors at MEDICAL EYE clinic here in Kissimmee FL. Before my surgeries, my vision was poor and blurry with GLASSES ON affecting my driving specially during the night. Now, thank God and these doctors, I can see clear without glasses. I can even read and text without glasses even though I’m considering the use of glasses depending on doctors recommendations because I don’t want to strain my vision more than what it’s capable of, after all, I’ll be 78 years old soon. I was referred to Dr. Cartwright by my ER doctor, no complaints, he is very professional and mostly thorough, at first he thought that it was a retina detachment he was not sure and referred me to another specialist, Dr Cooperman who saw me the same day, he was also thorough. He confirmed it was not retina detachment. I've been seeing Dr. Cartwright for the past 3 weeks and scheduled to see him this Thursday and I do know that his diagnosis was correct. I am happy with Dr. Cartwright and will recommend him anytime.

I was pleasantly surprised that I was taken to my tests just a few minutes past my appointment time. I usually wait much longer to be seen. I also appreciated signing my paper work right in the room and not having to wait in line for my turn to go to the area where I used to sign. I was not happy that I had to make two appointments for testing. The explanation was that my insurance would not pay if they were done on the same day. WHAT, but 2 days later it’s okay to give that test?

While traveling in Orlando on vacation, I ended up with a detached retina. Medical Eye Associates’s got me in for an appointment very quick. A referral and appointment was made that same day to a surgeon in Orlando who saw me and arranged for surgery that night. Retina was repaired successfully. Whenever I have an appointment with your office I am always pleased with how well I am treated and how professional the staff always is towards me. I may not always like my outcome personally for whatever I’m diagnosed with but I do know that I’m receiving overall good care.

People are friendly and the doctor is excellent. The one downfall is the wait. I have never waited less than an hour for my appointment. I really think you can do better with planning. Dr is the best in the field I'm lucky to see him. Scheduling is my issue: Last appointment I waited 50 min to be seen by the nurse. This time 35 min. I don't mind but I remember i couldn't come 15 late to my appointment and had to reschedule. It's not fair if I have to wait this long to be seen why can't I come 15 min late as long as I'm not called. The office should be more flexible and work with us.

Since i been going to the medical eyes. My eyes gotten better. They removed my cataracts and continued to work on my diabetic retinopathy conditions. I'm happy to have found medical eyes. Thanks so much.

Everything was good. Only complaint i have is i was under the impression i was going to see an Ophthalmologist and instead i was seen and Optometrist !! and i was charged a copay for seeing a specialist but seen by an optometrist. She was good though and thorough.

Dr Cartwight is without a doubt one of the best Doctors l have. For the most part the staff is good and congenial and I have few complaints However all the niceties I’ve stated are outweighed by the waiting time The waiting time of at least 2 hours plus makes me very nervous to the point of being angry And sick U must do something to eleviate this problem It’s absolutely horrific

Other than the expected pain from the anesthetic injection, the procedure went very smoothly! Dr. Cartwright was very careful and helped me relax during the procedure to remove the chalazion. Before I knew it, it was over! The only suggestion I’d have for the future, is more detailed post-op care instructions. I had to rely on my pharmacist for information about my antibiotic and internet research for post-op care. I was still running on adrenaline and anxiety from the procedure, and forgot to ask basic questions, so a pamphlet with FAQs would have been extremely helpful.

Everyone is so friendly/uses my name/trys to help us walk or get into their rooms. It is a great place for people who can not see well. The doctor is great too.

I absolutely love Dr Cartwright but the waiting time 9:20 appointment and I don’t get called for an hour is really bad. I don’t mind a 30 minute wait but and hour is too long

Staff is always professional and concerned with getting acurate information. I feel I am in good hands. Dr Cartwright made me feel comfortable about my procedure and took the time to answer my questions.

The check in too long a wait from check in to MD . I understand the wait from eye drop toward that was excellent. The check in paper work and then to be called back too long Suggestion either offer both on line new patient forms to be completed or mail it to the patient .

The service and professionalism of the staff was excellent, but the wait was terrible. It is unfortunate that one needs to wait over an hour for an appointment that was pre-scheduled. There should be some way of controlling or allotting the time slots more efficiently.

Para empezar la comunicación de la recepción es pésima y de mal gusto y falta de profesionalismo al llamar a su paciente días antes para confirmar la cita hasta el momento que llega uno a la ventanilla no tienen educación al tratar el paciente y todo lo hacen con mala ganas por ejemplo un día antes me llamaron para recordarme lo de una referencia del doctor primario y yo le dije que por qué un día antes me llama para recorda lo de la referencia y ella me contesta es su obrigacion de recordarse de las cosas me pregunto yo entonces para que me llamo si era mi deber ya por eso perdí la cita que tenía ya después mi doctora mando dos veces el referido y me dio la copia a mi ok cambie la cita otra ves ella me llamo para recordar la cita que tenía con ustedes y le pregunté nesecita que lleve el referido y me dice no es necesario ok llego el día a la cita y me pide el referido por qué ella no lo tenía donde mi doctora se lo mando dos veces y me lo pide de mala ganas por dicha lo tenía en el carro por qué si no pierdo otra ves la cita por falta de profesionalismo

I had a very good time at my appointment. Although I did not have to see the doctor at this appt. I thought it was awesome when the Doctor was delayed in surgery, that office announced this. Dr Cartwright is a very skilled healthcare provider. I have great confidence in his advise regarding my vision. Office management is sub standard. Clearly, there are times of emergency when schedules can't be met but waiting for an hour plus past an appointment time is not acceptable. I've been coming to this practice for nearly ten years and the wait time is always the same.

My last visit was done within 15 minutes. My appointment was at 9:10 and was done by 9:25. It was for photos.

The wait times to get called into the rooms are way too long. For a 1:20 appointment, not getting called back until at least 1:50 is too long to wait. Perhaps there is double booking? Not a great experience. Also one of the technicians I had initially was touching her dirty shoe and then was going to put drops in my eye. Well no...I did not allow that. I asked her to hand sanitize. Her answer was of yes but I'm not going to touch your eye. Not a great experience. It seems that the wait times have gotten longer than they used to be. Why not stop taking any new patients?

Everything went well, but I am confused. Everything I request an eye prescription for glasses they say I didn't ask for refraction. I read eye charts and did everything I would do to get a prescription. I am totally confused. Would like an explanation. My husband paid 40.00 and got an eye exam and a prescription. I did the same, but have been told at the front desk I did not get refraction. I would like to know what the difference is between what my husband got compared to what I got. Seems to be the same. One person in the upstairs doing tests for Glaucoma checkup seemed a bit undertrained or newly trained and the equipment I sat in front of seemed loud and "not quietly"moving/changing Which interfered with my concentration on what I was trying to push a button to say I had seen a light anywhere on the screen!
