Professional from moment I first visited Medical Arts Dental. All staff I have had contact with have been excellent. I needed lots of dental work, and I have been very pleased with all my work done at Medical Arts Dental.

This dental clinic was outstanding as far as customer service. They did a free consult plus free x-ray on determining whether to get dental implants. Cheerful staff very helpful and cheerful and knowledgeable dentist told us the information we needed and were extremely hospitable. Would recommend this clinic for anyone.

My experiences here were awesome, if a person can say that about a dental visit. I was treated with exceptional care and friendliness. The staff is very caring. I have MS so I deal with some pain on a daily basis so to go somewhere and be treated like you really matter makes the overall experience seem not so bad. Dr Eric and Tina really were great.

February 27, 2019 I found Dr. Steven Carlson DDS in Sartell, MN through my insurance provider, and “Googled” his name to hopefully learn more about him. His picture came up right away, along with a “Bio” where he shared more about himself, his background, family, and his values both personally and professionally. It gave me a great “snapshot” of him ahead of time, and I truly felt that he seemed to be someone I could be comfortable with, as many things and values he mentioned also were important to me! From the time I walked in the door, I felt truly welcomed with everyone! The office staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful in processing my personal information. I was impressed with how well “Tiff” made me so comfortable in taking all the Full Mouth and Panoramic X-rays, and Stacy did a great job in looking over my gums and mouth and offering suggestions to improve there, too. And Dr. Carlson? He was just WONDERFUL! For being someone who has HATED going to the Dentist my whole life, this was a truly different and wonderful experience! He was friendly and kind from the start, and I felt I had a good connection and comfort level with him right away, having been able to somewhat “meet” him from his picture and “Bio” online prior to arriving at his office! His exam was detailed and thorough. I was very impressed that the exam room had a special place to put the x-rays just to the left of my Dental Chair in FRONT of me - instead of the usual place behind a patient where they are not easily visible in many Dental offices! It made it MUCH easier for me to see what he was referring to as he went through his explanations of what I needed done and exactly where on my teeth! I could see and understand everything so much better!! I left his office extremely impressed with everyone, and all the many ways each one of his staff members had TOTALLY EXCEEDED my expectations! It was a wonderful, very thorough, and informative visit, and I look forward to being a patient there for many years to come! I would HIGHLY recomnend this office of Medical Arts Dental in Sartell, MN and Dr. Carlson to anyone looking for wonderful and very comprehensive Dental care! Annika is very scared of the dentist. When I talked to her I was very surprised she got her teeth pulled do to her fathers anger. She said that you were very nice and said the dentist said she was very proud if her and was happy the gas worked for her and that she didn't feel the needles and that they gave her more after so it wouldn't hurt and could only feel it a little when giving the shots again!!!!! I'm very pleased with her experience at your office and will deffinty continue seeing them.

Very nice reception by your front receptionist. She assisted me in completing your somewhat confusing intake questionnaire on multiple health questions that I was not ready for.

The girl at the front desk who checked me in was rather unfriendly. She acted as if I was a burden and didn’t even say hello or acknowledge that I was waiting for someone to help me for several minutes. She didn’t allow me to fill out my own form about if there were any changes in my history, I would have liked to review that myself. I think that someone who is the first person who patients see should be a little more open and friendly.

I was very impressed with both the Hygienist and Dentist. Both explained exactly what treatments I was having done and why. My Hygenist was very gentle when cleaning my teeth and during exrays. The Dentist took time to explain next steps and showed me on the exrays why they were needed. Explaination of charges and insurance coverage was also handled very well.

Cleaning great, doctor wonderful, everyone very helpful and polite and even got me in the same day which is amazing. The only criticism I have is that nitrous dose was so low i couldn’t even be certain I felt any effect at all. Was tempted to ask for a refund of the nearly 80$ because it was an absolute waste of money.

Had a wonderful first impression when I came in for my appointment. I called later that day to cancel an appointment I couldn’t make for later in the day and I got a very rude and attitude filled conversation. The conversation made me not want to come back.

Dr. Oz and his assistant Tina made me really relaxed. It felt like I was somewhere else instead of the Dentist. Dr. Oz is very very good at giving novicane and drilling without feeling any pain. Very gentle and he explains everything he does or did. Highly recommend this office. Especially if you are anxious/nerves about going to the dentist.

I was afraid to go thinking I may have to have a root canal but just needed sensitive toothpaste. I am glad they understand about my thyroid condition, but they do need to get or ask if a patient would like a thyroid collar for x rays.

It was an okay visit, but I was unhappy to find out that I had to come back to get my teeth cleaned. I was under the impression that, that is what I was having done. Now I have to take time off of work just to get my teeth cleaned when it should have been done last week when I took time off!

I was warmly greeted by the receptionist. Ryan's greeting made me smile. My dental hygienist was very professional yet friendly and I was relaxed with her. I appreciate her explaining what she was doing and options available as well as the cost and she answered all my questions. The person who took the molds was very good, I was at ease with her and she was patient and helpful and funny. The doctor was very good, I trusted she gave me the best options for my treatment. It was good

This is what I will remember about my first anesthetic experience and oral surgery: The lady at the front desk was very patient and helpful, and helped me to understand my confusing dental imsurance as well as payment options. The nurses who prepped me were very kind and gentle. I told them I was nervous, so they chatted with me while they got things ready. I suddenly felt very claustrophobic with the oxygen mask placed over my nose, and one of the ladies wiped away my tears while the others talked me through it. I was terrified in that moment but I also felt so supported, and I truly appreciate that. I really cannot stress how important that was to me. The surgeon had made himself available for questions prior to the procedure and I felt welcome by him and his support staff to express questions or concerns. The facility itself is very clean and comfortable. Instructions for check in, explanation of the procedure, and discharge instructions were thourough. Those things made this experience go as well as I think it could have. I regret that I don't remember any if their names, because they should be acknowledged.
