You always do a great job, but I just wanted to share an experience I had at a Knoxville dentist. When you get called back, they give you a paraffin hand dip and put big mittens on you, then they microwave a neck pack and wrap it around your neck when you are seated . I have a lot of anxiety at the dentist, and this really helped calm me down.

Everybody was friendly. I was not forced for work I couldn't afford. The extractions were so easy I didn't even know they were done.

Love my dentist and her assistant. They work well together and are always so pleasant. They make coming to the dentist almost fun. My regular dentist has never hurt me. I know Im in good hands with her. I also have seen Dr Perry and really liked him. He and the staff went above and beyond to help me when I needed it. Im a very nervous patient and Id recommend those 2 to anybody.

Family ... I felt like I was with family!!

The only thing that bothers me is that I feel like things get lost in translation with the scheduling staff. I had mentioned a couple requests for my recent visit and it wasn't put in the notes. I had to tell my hygienist that I had requested only a cleaning, not an extensive exam. I also had mentioned wanting a filling redone and that was never mentioned at my appointment. I ended up changing my mind on the filling, so I didn't say anything while I was there. The fact that I asked to make it part of my appointment and it wasn't scheduled that way makes me feel like my requests are ignored. Also, the appointment day and time I had made for this appointment was different than what was in the computer. Little things like that have happened a few times and it gets a little frustrating to feel like I'm not being heard. I was very happy with my hygienist. She was very nice, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I will try to request her for my next cleaning.

Because of a rare and complicated underlying medical issue, dental care is also complicated even to the point of risky for me. I have been dropped from practices, rejected by others because of hey did not want to take the time required to treat me. Dr. Martin has been so understanding and concerned about taking care of me in a way that requires being creative, patient and willing to think outside the box. He truly listens. I am thankful to find him after so many bad dental experiences. His assistant is also very kind and makes sure I am as comfortable as possible and keeps me informed as to what to expect.

We can't thank Dr. Ledford, Gurry Huffman, and Penny for coming to our rescue late on a Friday night. We will forever be grateful for their kindness and concern for our daughter after her traumatic basketball injury. They were truly our heroes!! Thank you Martin Dentistry!

I was thrilled with the service I received on Dec 27. While our of state for Christmas, I broke a tooth! I called your office and requested a call back from an answering service. I didn't get the call, so I called the office again and got an appointment same day! The office called my insurance provider and got approval for the procedure and worked me in same day!! I was told I'd have to go to Johnson City to complete the procedure. I prefer the Kingsport office. I was also told I'd get a call this past Monday with my next appointment day and time, I wasn't called. The techs at the office are extremely proficient and cordial. I am impressed with their level of professionalism. Thank you!

Am so appreciative to Dr. Martin because he goes the extra mile to care for the individual patient even if it is complicated because of underlying medical conditions. He really listens and thinks out of the box. I had been refused treatment by two dentists and an oral surgeon because of being high risk. My only suggestion would be better advance communication regarding the length of time the treatment would take and a pre-procedure consultation or at least a phone call with the person who administers anesthesia prior to the day of procedure, particularly if complicated case. I requested this via text but got no response. Overall, I am very impressed with the friendliness, helfulness and professionalism of this practice.

Thanks to Martin Dentistry, I never dread visiting the dentist. Every experience has been a positive one and I don't hesitate to commend Martin Dentistry to family members and friends.

Dr Martin answered an after hours emergency call for a crown that came loose on Halloween night. Yes it was a sticky candy and he was patient and kind as trick or treaters came to my door while he was guiding me through to an appointment the very next day. He even joked with the kids over the phone. I was in and out the next morning in 30 minutes!! Thanks for such responsive service!

I really like the lady who cleans my teeth. Unfortunately I don't have her name, but the same one always cleans my teeth, and I like her very much. Dr. Fox is the one who checked me afterward, and I liked him very much too. We made plans to re-fill some old fillings. My only observation is that since Dr. Martin, who was my regular dentist is not there anymore, I now see whoever. So I don't feel that the dentist who sees me is very familiar with my case and is probably quickly scanning my chart and talking to me briefly to see what my issues, if I have any, are. I do feel that the equipment is quality, and the dentists are well-qualified...just not the one-on-one I had with Dr. Martin.

As always it was great to see everyone, and the cleaning went well. See you in 6 months.

From walking in the door to walking out the door I was advised of all necessary information and was treated as a person with a need not just another patient and that was greatly appreciated. Attention was given at every step of the way with regards to explanation of service, what to expect next, and inquiry as to if I was comfortable and if indeed there was no undo pain. Great experience , great doc and assistant .. after effects were also negligible although I was prepared by Martin Denistry for any possible complications. I am very pleased with entire experience and recommend them to anyone in need of Dental assistance.

The people were very friendly. The lady who cleaned my teeth was super nice. She was gentle cleaning my teeth but did a great job. The doctor that came in checked my teeth was really nice also. The only thing negative was no in house payment plan. If you want to make payments you have to apply for it through "Credit Care". My old dentist did a pay as you can and I'm sure if you didn't pay them the credit would stop. Let's put it to you this way my old dentist wasn't hurting for money.

This was most pleasant, least stressful and least painful experience I have ever had while getting a one day crown. Dr Anderson was very calm and kind, also extremely gentle with the anesthesia. He had no trouble placing the “puzzle piece “. Heather was a wonderful assistant, with her sweet compassionate quality. She also kept a persistent attentiveness to not allowing any tooth fragments to escape her vacuum tool. I could breathe much easier and smile!!

Dr. Kevin and Amber are an unbeatable combination. Their teamwork gets great results everytime. Just like the airplane needs to hit the runway everytime, you can count on them at every turn. My temporary crowns felt exactly like natural teeth and the porcelain crowns are even better. I honestly felt not one bit of discomfort.

Don't understand why I have to pay $52 for a one minute view of my mouth by the dentist. Also I don't understand why you don't charge me the same price that you charge insurance companies. Since I am retired and am on a fixed income, price (and increases) are important. I really like Amy!

The only disappointing thing this trip was that I scheduled my appointment when I did with the intention of seeing my doctor. When I got there, I learned he wasn’t.
