Wow I was extremely impressed with the staff and professionalism at Martin Dentistry. I haven’t seen a dentist in over 3 years. I was worried about the toll that my neglect had taken on my teeth. This group Has the best state of the art equipment. Not only do they check your teeth but they also check for gum disease and recession. They measure the gums all the way around and measure any problems with the teeth that needs to be fixed. I was amazed how advanced they were. My husband had his first appointment the same day. He was very impressed. He had an accident in 1998 where he lost his front teeth at work. They had to put in implants. Dr. Martins staff did an XRay and discovered the gums behind the implants definitely needed to be cleaned They has not been cleaned in 6 years or longer. They are first on his priority list. I am so happy we found a local dentist with the knowledge of cleaning underneath the implants. The staff is excellent and they prioritize and make a plan for each individual. I would give them a 10. Thank you Sara O’Daniel and staff and the sweet little woman who did all my Xrays and got everything organized. Thanks Martin Dentistry for making my teeth feel clean and healthy again!

Waiting time was short and Sara did a great job! I have recommended Martin Dentistry to all my friends.

I have high anxiety when it comes to dental work. Both the hygienist and dentist were very knowledgeable, friendly and made me feel comfortable. However; the estimated bill to fix my teeth of close to $44,000.00 (before tax) is unacceptable and very few people are able to afford something that high! I will have to rethink my "plan" and do the barest that needs to be done. I have consulted with others and the cost is exuberant when others have had similar work done. It was indicated that I had a tooth that was abscessed and would need an antibiotic but I left without a prescription to take care of this infection. I was told that payment would have to come first. So a call to my PCP will have to be made in order to get the care I need for this.

I had gone in to the Kingsport office for my cleaning and to check about a tooth that had been bothering me. After looking at the X-ray, they determined I would need a root canal. They got me in the next morning in their Johnson City office. Dr Armbrister was very professional and did an excellent job! I would highly recommend him for anyone else needing the procedure.

I was very happy to get treated the same day I called in with my problem. Staff was very friendly.

The hygienist and doctor were great. The billing office was sub-par. They tried to make me divulge my SSN - which they aren't allowed to do. Then when I wouldn't give my SSN they tried to make me pay in advance before billing my insurance which violates the insurance contract. My insurance company advocated for me (who knew, right?). But the billing office acted like they were doing me a BIG favor by not insisting on obtaining my SSN. They're not entitled to your SSN!

This is by far the most wonderful dental office. I was a new patient and by the time I left my appointment I knew that I had found the perfect fit for me. Dr. Cheng and his assistant, Nyiah, were great. Dr. Cheng explained every detail of my dental issue and any apprehension I may have had disappeared. Amy and Rene were so kind as were all the office staff. Smiling face!!!! I will be recommending Martin Dentistry to all of my friends. I like them so much I may even take them cookies on my next visit in November.

Went back in to get my new crown put in..it went well, however was not happy about having to get more x rays..this is supposedly because of UH insurance policies..I am planning on having a talk with them..HA! My teeth felt gritty for awhile..today was much better. The gals were very attentive and the dentist was done in no time at all. It is an efficiently run business, for sure..at least from what I experience.

Lance took a very upset lady and corrected problem with a new temp filling, making her day so much better. My only hope is that this temp will last until permanent tooth is ready. YAAA Lance.

Having had probably 9 root canals and crowns then I am not new to going to the Dentist. I would say the professionalism and craftsmanship was excellent. I really liked getting the crown same day. The pain management during the procedure was sufficient. However, the amount of pain post procedure was by far the worst ever experienced. The entire side of my face was swollen and I could hardly open my mouth. Other root canals only took one day to heal and this took probably four days or 4 times longer than the previous 9 other root canals I have experienced.

New patient with this group. They have a very friendly staff with great knowledge. Explanation of each step of my initial examination was conducted professionally. Hygienist was sensitive to my concerns and did a wonderful job. Very satisfied with my entire experience here.

I’m very impressed with the thoroughness. I have never had a detailed exam like that. But, Im somewhat overwhelmed with all the work they showed me that needs to be done to my teeth. I’ve always taken very good care of my teeth, brushing at least 2 to 3 times a day and flossing really often. I’m glad however that these things were brought to my attention. My family’s experience with Matin Dentistry in Johnson City has been wonderful. I switched my daughter to this office after a less than pleasurable experience at a local pediatric dentistry office, and our experience thus far with this office has been a breath of fresh air. Dr. Armbrister and Elizabeth were very thorough and inclusive in every step of the process, the front office staff were all very friendly and accommodating, and unlike other dental offices, they were able to get us in for routine cleanings within a week and for dental work within 2 weeks afterward. I cannot say enough about this office and would highly recommend them to anyone!!

This dentist office was excellent from the personable, accommodating front desk, to the hygienists, assistants, & the dentist. They did not seem at all put off by questions & explained each step. Staff is great, very welcoming and know what’s going on. My hygienist is one of the main reasons I come to Martin - Elizabeth is awesome. My only complaint is that my insurance (Ameritas) is out of network now and costs me more money out of pocket.

Wouldn’t fill survey out first time being sent because for someone who has a real anxiety about dentist office, I needed more than 1 visit to answer honestly. The staff has made me feel more at ease. They are wonderful, especially Vivian and Dr.Andy. I would give them 5 stars but it’s still a dentist office, my BIGGEST FEAR. I don’t hesitate to call now if I have a problem. Jess is amazing. Many times you leave the dental office a little sore after having your teeth clean, but Jess takes great care and is very gentle. The entire staff at the JC office is amazing. I was greeted with a smile and they recognized me and said hello Mr. Williams. Both Dr. Armbrister and Dr. O’Daniel are so kind. It is the best practice in the Tri Cities!

I love my experience with Martin dentistry! I’m extremely anxious when it comes to the dentist, but they put my mind at ease throughout the whole appointment. I had a tooth pulled, overall there was no pain, however when the pressure became too much on my jaw they stopped let me have a minute and assured me everything was OK before ever trying to start again. Will definitely come back!

The whole staff was extremely friendly. I was able to be seen very quickly when I first called to make an appointment. There was almost no wait time in the lobby. They got me back on time every time. They are very thorough and explained what they were doing and why. If there is such a thing as a pleasant experience at a dentist, this was it. I highly recommend them.
