Mansfield Family Practice has been so important, helpful (and friendly) for 33 years keeping me and my family well. As always, the help for me on 2/19/20 was very good (and punctual). I always highly recommend MFP, especially to newcomers near Storrs--from years of good reasons to do so.

I was seen promptly and did not feel rushed at all once in the exam room. MFP worked with Quest who stayed open a few minutes beyond closing so I could get my blood drawn. Receptionist was waiting to arrange my follow up visit. It was seamless. MFP is a very good, well run practice and they appear to just be getting better.

Dr Dardick was polite explained details asked questions about how I feel .They get you in and out no waiting just make sure your on time not late .

I had been sick for 11 days with sore throat, cough, coughing up some phelgm, slightly elevated fever and fatigue. Dr. DeVino gave me a prescription and a recommendation for an OTC medicine to suppress my cough. I told her that I thought I was beginning to get better, so she gave me a prescription for Z-pack to fill in a couple of days if I didn't feel better.

Dr. Dardick and staff have been excellent.....always responsive, professional and accommodating. Lab work (blood) may require a bit more attention. Scheduled hours were difficult to confirm and unavailable. There seemed to be a disconnect between the lab and doctor's office at the time but everything worked out in the end.

Dr. Madraswalla is the best doctor on the planet. He really cares, and he really listens. He knows his patients so well.

The practitioners at Mansfield Family Practice are warm and listen to the patient.

Not sure what's going on with the front desk recently, although I know there are quite a few unfamiliar faces. They are not as personable, or helpful, as the people we're use to (for the past 15 years). On the phone, it's actually even worse. It seems as if they are basically "put out" to be talking to you. Disappointing, to say the least.

On the rare occasion when care is needed urgently, the practice is able to work patients in with alternate practitioners when the Physician of Record is unavailable. Dr. Hughes is my GP. I had emergency surgery recently at Hartford Hospital and upon my release was denied one of the necessary medications by the insurance company. Dr. Hughes was incredible! She went the extra mile to call my specialist and CVS and found out an acceptable substitute to all parties. She also gave me advice about my leaky incision.

Your practice is quite efficient. Your receptionist(s) are businesslike and professional but could smile more and make the patients feel more welcome and comfortable. The medical assistant did not introduce herself--I still do not know her name. Dr. M was amazingly punctual for late morning and as bright, concerned, and empathetic as could be expected.
