I have been going to Dr. Yunker for 20+ years, and have never felt that the staff or DrYunker were rushed. They are very informative and patient with all the questions that I might’ve had Through each and everyone of my appointment.

When I walked away after my visit I thought I was very satisfied with the contact lenses prescribed; however after being outdoors for a while, I wasn’t as happy with them as initially thought. I called the next day to discuss it and a different prescription was sent to me. I received them the next day. They work great and I’m very satisfied with them. Dr Yunker is very thorough. He was not satisfied with one result and decided to dilate my eyes for further evaluation. After discussion we decided to agree on an every other year visit due to the growth of cataracts. He also talked to me about the use of Medicare for my appointments. I am very satisfied with my service and have been a patient with him since 1994.

The gal who checked me in and did the beginning machines was so friendly and personable. I was completely at ease because of Kayla despite being a new customer. After seeing the doctor, I spoke with Ryan (I think that was his name) about getting new glasses. The experience was very simple and I didn’t feel pressured the way some salespeople make you feel. I ended up going with a few of the options he recommended because he explained them in a way that made sense for my life. I will definitely continue to use Lifetime Vision and will be forcing my husband to come in to get his eyes checked!

Pre-testing and exam were done wonderfully! The person who deals with insurance there was less than nice however.

I stopped in a few months ago as I noticed my vision change and my glasses were quite new. So, I thought maybe they needed an alignment. The person working that day treated me like I was crazy and was not very helpful. I left and have struggled with my vision since then. I came in for my appointment, which did indicate there was a minor change in my vision. I was connected with Cait and what a different experience I had. She listened to my concerns about my existing glasses and she worked on them. I left being able to see clearly, without having to purchase new glasses at this time. She has great customer service and really listens to your issues. She is a great addition to your staff. I was seriously considering going somewhere else after my unfortunate experience this summer, but so glad I gave it another chance. I have also shared this with a co-worker that had a similar experience with the same staff member.

Dr Yunker is amazing and never makes you feel rushed and answers all your questions

Contact fitting and another test are extra costs and I felt would not be necessary. It would be nice to be informed that they aren’t covered by insurance prior to them being done. Staff were very friendly and otherwise everything was great!

Kari Torkleson has always been very through in her exams. Very willing to answer any questions i need to ask. And Cait was very attentive showing me many frames that she thought I would like. She even order a frame I liked in another color to see if it was the color I would want.

My only input is that the one procedure whereby my eyes are dilated was not clear to me. I was given the option to do the dilation which affects me for a few hours or the picture that affects me not at all for $35 additionally. I thought the $35 was on top of the dilatation and not an alternative to. I'm sure I could have paid better attn and understood that but some clearer language might have helped. This was a VERY small thing to me and it may well be ALL my fault but that is the only feedback I can offer to help. Over all it was a good job

I got in for pretesting quickly. I didn't have to wait long for Dr. Torkelson. She is thorough and explains things clearly. The lady who helped me look for a frame I like was friendly.

Dr. Yunker does a great job explaining the issues I'm having with my eyes - ocular migraine - There is a question I did not ask and wonder if I can ask it here. Sometimes at night when I'm reading in bed, there appear to be red lines under the words further down on the page. As I continue reading, the red lines disappear. I haven't really paid attention to details, but I think this mostly happens when I'm tired. Any idea what would cause that? thank you.

The optometrist I saw was great! If I could give a bit of feedback - the technician who helped me, Sarah, was not as helpful. She did not introduce herself or the trainee or prep me for what she was going to do. I have worked in service and now in healthcare and I think that is service 101. Maybe she was having a bad day or tired because it was 2 pm on Friday. I try to give the benefit of the doubt. Anyways, that was the difference for me between what was a pretty good experience, and what could have been great.

Only recomendation would be to send appointment reminders the day before appointment not the day of the appointment . I received my reminder about an hour before. I had made the appointment a year earlier and complete forgot until I received the reminder. I also received a card in the mail that it was time another checkup and to make an appointment.
