Arrived early and was lucky to be seen almost right away. Was glad to be helped and reassured by the doctor that it was caught in time, and the infection had not harmed the eye. She gave me an eye examination and determined the problem was an infected gland on the eyelid. Use of periodic warm compresses with a gentle massage on the eyelid has done the trick.

We have been patients for many,many years and would not be returning if not pleased.

I have been going to this practice for over 25 years. It is always a pleasure to go. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and Dr Pfeffer is wonderful. He never rushes you and always had time for any and all questions.

After many years seeing Dr Morrill, my most recent visit was with Dr Pfeffer. He asked questions, listened to my concerns, administered a thorough with exam, and asked if I had any questions for him. We thought the eye doctor was very nice. I was a little surprised that neither of my children’s eyes were dilated. Not sure if that is routine, but it’s been done at other eye doctors. My daughter was getting her first eye test, it was very quick. We also don’t believe they did the pressure test (glaucoma) on either of my children. Not sure if it’s common to not test in children, but we’ve had it done elsewhere. We seemed to have more extensive testing done by another associate at other eye offices....color blindness cards and other tests done, glaucoma, other measurements. I felt like our visit wasn’t as thorough, and even though I liked the eye doctor, I am not sure I would come back as a result. I want my children to get very thorough testing done. On a positive note, we were taken on time and it was fast.

The checkup on my vision was performed pleasantly by the doctor. She explained each step of the exam clearly and gave explanations for the tests performed. It was apparent to me that my eye prescription had changed, and she confirmed this with the results of the vision exam. Then she explained that she would next examine the health condition of my eyes. Since eye drops were needed for this she gave 3 applications with explanations for each, and offered to show me to the room where I could look at the eye glasses on display for purchase while we waited for the eye drops to work. I decided to make a purchase on a pair and was instructed to proceed to the office receptionist to settle the bill before returning to the doctor. Good use of time, and I am looking forward to the arrival of my new pair of glasses this week.

Dr. Pheffer was great, as usual. Suzzette was delightful, as usual.

You have a gem of a practice in Franklin and I have recommended you numerous times since my visit in the Fall. I found Dr Pfeffer to be warm, accommodating, and willing to answer multiple questions. And the staff has always been very pleasant. But what prompted me to write a review (which I never do), is my interaction with Suzette, the optician. It is not easy for me to adjust to a new pair of glasses due to my prescription, and I have had bad experiences in a couple of other local optical shops who did not take the time to listen to my needs. I ended up wearing an old pair of glasses for about 12 years (not attractive!) I found Suzette to be skilled, attentive, directive without being condescending, and very friendly. I was so amazed that after one minor fix I was able to have a new pair of glasses that didn’t give me headaches for weeks while I “adjusted” to them! Thanks again! A loyal Franklin patient

Jax was fit in for a emergency 5:45 eye appt when he experienced a eye abrasion at school. Dr. Morrill was so patient and kind with my 5 year old who was petrified of having his eye examined. He then gave us a follow up appointment to make sure his eye was completely healed. I would highly recommend this office. Especially for children.

This is the second year my wife and I have had our eye exams there. First experience was 5-star. This time I dropped a “star” because there was a delay in my appointment. It seems (I overheard) a patient had called with significant eye pain and had just arrived prior to my appointment time. UNDERSTANDABLY they ushered her in to see the Doctor before me - delaying my appointment time. Had the staff informed me of the reason for the delay I would have rated them 5-stars again. Office clean -staff professional & friendly - no pressure to purchase.

I’ve been going to this practice for over 20 years. All the optometrists that have taken care of me have been superb. My current optometrist, Dr. Michael Pfeffer is absolutely wonderful! Dr. Pfeffer saw me on an emergency basis. My left eye was weeping for four days and it was very blurry at times. He suggested a homeopathic solution. Thorough eye exam. Dr. Morrill explains everything in detail and has a great, funny personality.

I have multiple autoimmune diseases and which can cause multiple side effects in your body including in your eyes. I had visual changes and I was anxious that it could be related. A comprehensive eye evaluation is how it is diagnosed. I was taken in emergently and evaluated. Thankfully it was not my autoimmune diseases. Extremely professional and awesome staff!

I've been going to Dr Morrill for years. He's been very attentive and thorough with my regular eye exams and especially in the past year, while I've been treated for a serious illness. The front staff is mostly helpful and the ladies that do the eyeglass fittings are seasoned and knowledgeable!

I haven’t been to an eye doctor in over 20 years so I thought I would check to make sure everything was fine. I was not having any problems, it’s that I am over 40 so.. why not. The Doctor was very nice did a complete test. Had me out really quick. I did not need glasses my eyes were still perfect. I will tell everyone at work to go there. Two minutes from my work. Awesome place.
