My husband and I have been going to Hendersonville Dentistry since January 2021. Dr Ross Bower for my husband, Dr Claire Black for me. The office staff is friendly, helpful and professional. The doctors are kind, professional and caring.

Good care to be found there, but it seems like prices go up every time I visit. And really— $560 for two minor fillings? Yikes!

I choose to never use social media like Facebook or Google, so my reasons for giving my recent appointment a 5 are based on the gracious welcome by Beth, the new dental technician who listened to my problem of having forgotten to take the antibiotics my orthopedic surgeon said I'd need to take before any dental cleaning or other dental work. She consulted Dr. Black to solve my problem and I was able to have my teeth cleaned.

Beth was my dental hygienist years ago and it was a delight to see her again. Same wonderful professionalism and skill. So happy she is with your practice ❤

I managed to “pop off” one of my crowns. I called the next day to setup a date to have it evaluated to find how much damage was done. I was in the office two days later to see Dr. Black, I was given three options to repair and replace the crown. In a couple of weeks I will be back to complete the treatment. As always the Drs. we’re right there to help out, along with the always very friendly office personnel! Hence the five star review!

I’m a really baby when it comes to the dentist & having to stare at my X-rays makes me more nervous! Please cater more towards us cowards! Also, the dentists are professional & qualified, however they’re very young, so I would get a second opinion on any future major work that I might need. But, overall, a good place!

Kari provides a pain free cleaning experience and is always aware of my sensitivity. She is thorough and personable. I had to have two teeth extracted at the end of the year, and chose a local holistic dentist who used ozone and my own stem cells for treatment. Both teeth will be replaced with a biocompatible bridge and a partial. Dr. Bower suggested I work with the holistic dentist for my future needs. Is this his way of saying he no longer wishes me to remain a patient at Hendersonville Dentistry?

Love the dental hygienists, and Dr. Black is always friendly. Called ahead to make sure what the charge would be and ended up being charged $50 more than I was expecting - a miscommunication I guess, as the person on the phone said if I didn't get x-rays etc I would only be charged for a cleaning, but the receptionist at check out charged for just seeing the doctor. Other than that, it was a positive experience.

Great, honest and reputable dentist. Always on time and friendly and caring staff. My son saw a dentist who recommended a root canal after he cracked a tooth. I made sure he saw Dr. Black. Not often you receive a text from a 21 year old stating he was “so incredibly glad he went to see Dr. Black.” No root canal recommended. I inquired about cosmetic procedure for him. Dr. Black said she would evaluate but would probably not recommend. So, she is a highly skilled and ethical dentist. I am a physician, myself, and would highly recommend Dr. Black!

Aggressive brushing over the years caused my gums to receed. I had switched to an Oral B electric brush; as recommended by my Dental Hygenist over a year ago. I love it, & it has helped to prevent further damage, but Dr Black needed to address the “open” areas. I was anxious about receiving the shot to reduce the pain & sensitivity of the procedure, & More Worried about how it would look- these were 2 of my Front teeth! Dr Black was able to Very Successfully, & Skillfully fill the cavities with a very near-perfect color match, shaped & polished the material to look just like my own natural teeth. Now those areas are white; no longer exposing the discolored root area of the teeth. It took very little time, & after the initail shot- was painless. I am Thrilled with the results! Thank you Dr Black.

Extremely pleasant visit! Had several teeth worked on (fillings, etc.) and had no pain whatsoever! Haven't had any since! Dr. Black even did an impression on the same day in preparation for a crown to be placed on an implant. I had an appointment to have that done next week, but she went ahead and took the impression yesterday -- saving me a trip to get that done on the previously scheduled date next week. I could not be more pleased with the care I was given.

Dr Black is an excellent dentist and her staff are professional, attentive, and kind. The facility is modern and well maintained. She even has current men related magazines (non-golf!) in the waiting room, as opposed to the traditional outdated, well worn women's and children's magazines (or golf magazines) in other medical offices! I am very satisfied with the care I have received to date.

One of my crowns came off. You were able to get me in right away and fix the problem, luckily it just needed to be re glued and some adjustment for bite.

Started using an electric toothbrush and had the best visit ever. Heather is so gentle during a cleaning, explains what she’s doing and answers all questions. Dr Black is also good giving explanations and does a through exam. Really didn’t mind going to see dentist!!
