You are greeted when you walk in the door, they are on time getting you called back. The hygienist is efficient, pleasant and makes sure you are comfortable through the check up. Your records are visible on the screen and anything that is being done is explained throughly. You don’t have to wait over a minute or two and the dentist is there to finish up. The checkout process is quick, efficient and pleasant.

There was no waiting time for either the hygienist or the dentist after my cleaning was finished. The hygienist was professional and gentle. I liked that she didn’t talk to me while she was working on me. It meant I didn’t have to try to answer questions with equipment in my mouth!

Going to the dentist makes me feel so anxious. Anytime I have ever had any dental work done the dentists in the past have never been able to fully numb me so I always feel what they are doing. I had dental work done this week with Healthy Smiles and the dentist took her time to be sure that I was fully numb, I did not feel a thing. It was amazing! I had a small dental emergency and my dentist had moved out of town. I called to see if I could get an appointment and was able to get in the same day. Yay! The office staff was very welcoming and pleasant. The dentist and the techs were wonderful, explained everything they were doing. I have some dental anxiety because I have a hard time staying numb and have experienced lots of pain at the dentist in the past. This was the 1st time in 15 yrs that going to the dentist has not hurt!!!

It was my first time there and I was very happy with how it went. I didn't have to wait long at all to get seated in the back for my cleaning. The hygienist was very quick but it still felt like I got a good cleaning. Always a good experience at Healthy Smiles

My last visit, to get a tooth extracted, was one of the worse dental visits in my 44 years of existence. Dr Ross began giving me my shot and with in a few seconds I felt a horrible pain that felt like stabbing at first but then quickly changed to a shooting/shocking (as in an electrical zapping type of pain) sensation in the back of my left jaw and ear. I flinched in pain and moaned, Dr. Ross then stopped. I informed Dr. Ross of the pain and how it felt and said "that's one of the worst pains I've ever felt at this office". I then let her know exactly where the pain was (where my jaw attaches to my skull and deep in my ear) and informed her that it hurt when I breathed outward. (I'm assuming that's because of the pressure changes in my nasopharyngeal area and where my Eustachian tube's are located) Dr Ross then grind and looked up at her assistant and chuckled why holding her hands up and saying "I don't know why, I did everything like I always do". I was embarrassed and shocked at this remark and her smiling, laughing and jestering to her assistant. This was not a smiling, grinning or chucking moment for me. And I didn't need to be made to feel like a whining uneducated idiot in the process. She then gave a few minutes for the numbness to kick in and proceeded to inject more. There was no pain in my jaw or mouth during the extraction but my ear still continued to hurt. When Dr. Ross was finished with the extraction she got up and left. She didn't not ask if my ear was still hurting or how I was doing afterwards. Well that was Monday and today is Wednesday and my ear still hurts in the same place it did when Dr Ross laughed off her injection into my jaw. This is not the type of professionalism I'd expect from Healthy Smiles or any dentistry practice. Victor Holleyman
