Even in the midst of the covid19 pandemic, the staff was as helpful, efficient and kind as always. My experiences at Hawks Prairie Vision are stress free and very effective for my vision’s health.

Miranda performed all the screening tests with great competence and disinfected all the instruments between patients during this time of covid-19.

Visit was on time, all employees I spoke with were friendly and very knowledgeable. All my questions were answered and all went well.

First of all, you are well organized beginning with the call I got to set up my appointment. I don't remember who called me for my follow-up after 3 years, but she was so nice to speak with and accommodated my schedule. Was it Melinda? Thank you Melinda. Next, the office is lovely and I did not have to wait for one second. I just got right into the room with Miranda who was so friendly and efficient and adorable. I really enjoyed my time with her. Thanks Miranda! Then I saw Dr. Aaron and he treated me like an old friend. It was a treat to see him doing so well and we had a wonderful talk about mutual interests. I just love Aaron! Thanks Aaron! The eye exam was alot of fun and quick and I was on my way. When I called to say I thought I forgot my calendar in the building somewhere, Melinda asked everyone and made a note for all the peeps working there to look out for it. Then I found it in my car! All in all my experience was great. However the lady that was supposed to be assisting me in picking out new glasses was very impatient with me and I felt like there was somewhere else she needed to be. Buying glasses is an investment for the next few years and being rushed is not a great feeling. Also I asked about my coverage benefits and she seemed annoyed with my questions. I would like this info shared with staff. Thanks

All was fine with the appointment and staff etc. Always a professional and friendly experience. A recommendation is only regarding the ‘answering machine’ when calling. I had started to call at 8 am trying to verify my appointment time. The message told me I was calling outside of normal business hours. I called a number of times and finally was answered at 9:38 am. The problem is the message never tells the caller what the office hours are - you just have to keep calling. Opening time on that day was 9:30 am. Had I known that I could have forgone the numerous earlier calls and waited for the office to open.

Great visit from start to finish. Been to several other eye clinics in the area and NONE compare to yours! The personnel are friendly and helpful AND good at what they do. Thoroughness was also top notch in every test they did on my eyes and the explanations that followed. Yes, these folks explain everything they’re doing and talk about their findings! Impressive! The office was nice, clean. The office staff was super nice and personable. The assistant who took me back and took my history was also really nice and personable and was quite knowledgeable which helped for my kind of weird eye situation. The doctor I saw, Dr. Jenny, was so incredibly nice. I really liked her. She asked really good questions and when we did the lenses part of the exam, she made sure that my new prescription wasn’t just accurate, but was comfortable for me. I just got my new glasses and things I was squinting at and really struggling to see the details of before are now crystal clear. She did a really fantastic job. I’m really glad that I came here.

The staff, from front desk to back office, is very personable. Always on time and makes the experience memorable. I’ve been going to HPVC for the past six years and the service is consistent. I get my contacts and glasses through them and they usually have good selection. This year though it seems the glasses are the same not much option to choose from. Though I can shop on line and provide them the item number so they can order it for me, I still want to see how it looks on me before I commit to something I will consistently wear. Other than that, I’m happy.

I had an infected eye and called for an appointment. Dr. Aron Paranio was able to see me the same day. I did indeed have an eye infection. Dr. Aron and his assistant were very thorough and gave me a complete eye examination. They were quite professional, but very personable. They resolved my issue and gave me a prescription that has relieved my discomfort. I’ve been going to Hawk’s Prairie Vision Clinic for several years and have always been treated like family. The doctors are very knowledgeable & friendly but your glasses are extremely over-priced. I easily found many comparable lenses & frames for half the price online and at Costco. I feel ripped off being charged $400 when I could have bought the exact same pair of glasses for $189 elsewhere.

I had an appointment for myself and my friend also had an appointment as I was introducing her to HPVC. We were greeted so kindly and thanked for arriving early to complete paperwork. A doctor in training handled the first parts of our appointments and he did a great job! We both saw my usual provider, who was fantastic as always. He was able to accurately identify what was happening with my friend’s eyes, which made her feel at ease as doctors in her past had brushed off her concerns. We were both able to choose new frames from a generous selection and get our new glasses ordered.

I had a great time with the team, I had a intern who was knowledgeable what he was doing, because he explained all the procedure. The follow up by the doctor was also great experience with great customer service 👍

The doctor I saw was INCREDIBLE. She spent a lot of time with me and was determined to figure out what was wrong with my left eye. I will never let anymore else anywhere near my eyes. I totally trust her. The only reason I didn’t rate 5 stars is because the dark haired receptionist was VERY s Ipsy while discussing insurance. I didn’t understand what she was telling me and I tried explaining but she kept talking over me. Then she got pissed and wouldn’t talk to me at all anymore. I don’t like being distespected in that fashion

Thank you for seeing me even though I was a few minutes late. After the examination the dr gave me permission to get dressed, but didn’t say I was done so I sat in the examination room for approximately 15 minutes or more before his assistant came in and was surprised I was still there. As I left I forgot to stop at reception to retrieve my drivers license and medical card so I drove around for a week without it, (I went out of town for Thanksgiving holidays). As I analyze this, as a senior citizen I need to be early so there’s plenty of time for staff to copy my credentials and return them to me prior to examination. I am new to the area and had a hard time finding the office. The exam went well, and the receptionist who gave my credentials back to me on Wednesday was very helpful and kind. 😊

The staff is professional and prompt. You got me in on time, completed the tests quickly and efficiently, and helped me select a new pair of glasses promptly.

All went well, Dr. Michelle caught a problem early, & had me come in for further checks, all is fine after last follow up.

Dr. Michele immediately made me feel welcomed and comfortable. She was very professional, warm and gave me the most thorough eye exam I've ever had and completely explained everything she did and whatever she discovered during the process. The entire staff were great!

Loved the eye doctor. She gave me sooo many helpful ideas. The drops are amazing g. Cannot wait to get my glasses, so I can see well enough to read and not have to rely on my phone to spell properly.

The receptionists, Barb, and Dr Peranio are all excellent. However, my one concern is regarding sensitive information being given over the phone to the Pacific Cataract & Laser Institute; all this information is being spoken in a normal volume by the receptionist while other patients who are within hearing distance are in the lobby/waiting area. This information included my name (incl my last name being spelled out), address, date of birth, social security number, and my insurance account numbers). With identity theft being what it is now, patient confidentiality at the reception area definitely needs to be managed better than this.

Sense of being well cared for, is such, that it my husband and I hesitate considering a move away from the area for fear of not finding similar in a new City.. Each and everyone at Hawks Prairie Vision Clinic make an appointment a very good experience.
