It had been a long time since my last visit to a dentist, and I was in need of finding one who would accept my new dental insurance. When I contacted Howell Dentistry (in the N. Suffolk office) I was greeted by Katherine who was extremely pleasant and helpful and made me feel comfortable right away. I was a bit nervous at my first visit but also anxious to get started on this road to better tooth health! From the first meeting with my hygienist to my first meeting with my dentist and his assistants, I was made to feel relaxed as if I had been a long time patient. Everyone in the Howell Dentistry Office was extremely friendly and they all seemed happy with their jobs and very competent in what they do. I would not hesitate for a minute to recommend this office to anyone!! Make that call; you’ll be happy you did!! JKE

I was unaware there are 5 dentists in this office. I was expecting to see Dr. Howell but say a different Dr. Who gave me a very cursory review, trusting the hygienists comments and moved on. In fairness, i’m not sure what else he could have done but his review seemed insignificant.

Please consider a different area or process for verifying patient insurance information. Providing sensitive info via phone at the front desk (i.e. patient names, dates of birth, social security numbers) within direct earshot of anyone in the patient waiting area poses a pretty significant HIPAA violation risk. This is something that should be addressed ASAP. Otherwise, TWO THUMBS UP for very friendly and professional staff, clean facility and minimal waiting times.

Heather does a fantastic job in dental hygiene. I can remember years ago and feeling like I needed a pain pill because it hurt so much. She also picked up on a chipped filling that needs repair. Dr. Sagan did a great job repairing my chipped tooth. I sincerely appreciate their excellent care.

Although getting one’s teeth cleaned is not a pleasurable undertaking, it is always a pleasant experience going to the Howell Harbourview Dental Clinic. My dental hygienist with whom I have had a relationship, is SUPERB! The office staff is very personable, and my personal dentist does an excellent job. I continue to be pleased with my care.

Dr. Sagan and Taylor did a phenomenal job ensuring I was comfortable at all times during my procedure. I spent 3 hours in the chair while getting a crown but it was cool , pain free, enjoyable 3 hours. These folks that worked on me deserve a phat pay raise. Thanx y’all! Tim

Dr. Dodge and his assistant were so kind and helpful with me during my procedure that ended up being 2 procedures - a Bridge and Repair of an old filling. My mouth finally feels comfortable again after having a gap from a broken tooth that Dr. Dodge extracted several weeks ago. I have my temporary bridge and the filling fixed, and it’s nice to be able to eat comfortably again. Thank you Dr. Dodge!

Doctor Dodge is a great Dentist. Him and his staff were excellent. I got a tooth pulled and had some concerns I called Emergency Dentistcon call and got prescription filled. I also came in for the pain a week later and the staff treated great. I recently got a filling done. I feel better all thanks to the wonderful people at Harbour View Dentistry. I highly recommend This office.

I had asked the receptionist who I had spoken to please have either my hygienist or the dentist to give me call I explained to Ladina, not sure if that’s the correct spelling of her. what my questions and concern been there for several years and I wanted to let someone know that on July 30 I had to change my schedule I had asked the receptionist who I had spoken to you to please have either my hygienist or the dr. how to give me a call back because I had a question in reference to the crack in my tooth to see whether or not I needed to get that bridgework done in January, I had a few other questions that would’ve help me determine when to reschedule the appointment, in time for my insurance to come back around and I spoke to the young lady and she said is she would have someone to give me a call back, today is August 1st, I have yet to receive a courtesy call back I have not received any type of follow up in reference to my question and I’m a little disappointed because I feel that I am a valuable customer which I should have gotten A courtesy call back I really strive for good customer service and I promote that in my place of work. I felt like what I had to ask was not important and was not followed through correctly and it slipped through the crack I was very disappointed I never had a complaint about your office, I am very disappointed, I am my name is S. Mara was extremely helpful with my teeth cleaning. I felt comfortable and relaxed and was able to trust her completely not having any anesthesia. I would recommend her to anyone she is very professional.

The female technician was very professional, and she made me feel very comfortable throughout the visit. She answered all of my questions. This procedure is expensive and went over all of the costs with me. If possible I would very much like to have her every time I go there.
