From my first visit to the local which is on hiawassee Rd to the place at Lake Mary for a surgery I always meet the kind people to serve me. There is enough employees to serve patients so fast. Beautiful and clean places, Super kind people, fast service what can we expect more.

Though I was not an accepted applicant for Lasik or similar procedures due to my eye sight being outside of the spectrum, I was welcomed warmly and the staff were very caring.

Only issue that wasnt perfect is the long wait time and the fact that my husband could not come in and had to sit in a hot car for over 2 hours. I know you are being extra careful with the covid but perhaps you could put a couple comfortable chairs in a shady spot, maybe that breezeway to the left of your office ? I would have never had him come other then the fact my eyes were dilated so it wasnt safe for me to drive. Hopefully things will relax soon.

I appreciate her telling me at the end of my exam that I had no damage due to diabetes, no macular degeneration disease, and no need for glasses to drive anylonger. I love that she explained to me how my sight improved due to cataract surgery using terms I understood, like going from 400 to 20/40. I've been legally blind in my right eye since 3rd grade when I started wearing glasses. This was amazing to me. I have never had vision this clear in my entire life. Who would of thought age 75 and no need for glasses anylonger? Praise Jesus and Thank you Dr Filutowski and Dr Dempsey.

The visit with the drs was great as always!! The fact the I had to confirm my contact details and initial a piece of paper doing so, and then had to fill out more paperwork to input my contact details was a little ridiculous.

Great service so far. However, I would like to see a change in the email format to fill the paperwork out prior to the first visit. In my experience (on IOS) I was not able to print out any of the paperwork to fill it out and had to fill it out in the office. A minor inconvenience, but I thought it should be noted for future clients. Other than that, fantastic staff and are very professional at what they do. I will recommend to everyone I know that is in the market for lasik.

I was referred to Dr Filutowski by my primary care doctor for a second opinion consult. Making the appointment and the appointment itself was handled in a timely efficient manner. The level of professionalism, genuine caring and efficiency made me feel comfortable. Tests that the doctor had ordered prior to seeing the doctor were performed in a timely, orderly manner and I was made to feel at ease. All my questions were answered in way that made me feel comfortable. Dr Filutowski performed his evaluation in professional manner and explained his diagnosis in a manner that I could understand. In addition, I was handed a Script for prescription glasses and 5 Page Documentation of the test, results and discussion that took place during our visit. The same report was sent to my primary physician electronically. I left my first encounter in awe of the level of the expertise that I had encountered and the genuine concern for me as an unique individual and not just another patient.

The office people and technicians were great. The doctor was very informative and educational also. However The two receptionist at the front desk seemed preoccupied with personal phone calls and personal conversations. Did not get warm inviting welcoming feeling on arrival. or the departure.

Treatment of my eyes was great, they way the staff and doctors treated me was outstanding, the only thing I had a problem with was the wait my appointment time was 8am I arrived a little early and still sat in the waiting area till 840am before first being seen. I was greeted with a smile and very professionally. I only had a very short wait even though I arrived 20 minutes early. Afterwards the four different people I came in contact with treated me as a patient/human instead of a number They answered all my questions. Most of them before I even asked them. 👍😀

I was very impressed when I called to make an appointment to see someone quickly as I had injured my eye and was concerned about it. I was told to come in that very morning, was seen quickly upon arrival by a very supportive doctor who, upon examining my eye, said the damage was minimal, prescribed drops to prevent infection and sent me on my way, to return in a week for a check up. Both me and my eye left feeling much better!

Professional, courteous service.

The 3 people at the front were chatting VERY loudly about their personal gym workouts and diets the entire time I was there. So loud that it was extremely annoying. I actually was made to feel that I interrupted them when I walked in and was made to wait for them to stop to check in and then was treated rudely and given a dirty look. Then upon sitting down, I noticed the people in the back all gathered in a room with a glass window that the patients waiting could see them all chatting and carrying on while the patients sat and waited. For the entire time I waited to get called back, and for the 20 minutes I waited for my eyes to dialate, and as I was trying to check out to leave they were carrying on with no care at all for the fact that they are there to work. As a business owner I expect employees to chat on their own time and to treat the customer with respect. The only reason I gave that many stars is because the doctor was excellent.

I was in and out in 30 minutes. Shortest visit yet and since we drive over an hour to get there it’s very appreciated.

Lots of back and forth to the waiting room, but each specialty worked well on their stuff. One note for pressies takers - when a patient comments that their pressures are high, an automatic retake might be in order, rather than 'oh. they're fine, anything in this range is good', without looking at patient history. It's not always fine, and I'm getting an SLT and eye drop increase based on those high readings. While I've had one, and I agree the increase in drops was based on more than today's reading, I do wish I'd insisted she take it again. I've had techs automatically take it again based on. a comment and it's been different as often as it's been the same. Just training....

I have been a patient of the Filutowski Institute for over ten years. I had Lasik surgery on both eyes that was a huge success and I was able to see better than I had for 30 years. Two years ago I had cataract surgery on both eyes- and yesterday I had my annual check up with the Filutowski Institute and I was still at 20/20 Vision. I have had Dr .Dempsey as my Specialist and she has always had time to explain procedures and symptoms that I was experiencing. I have recommended these Doctors to my friends and family- and now my Husband, daughter and son in law are all patients. This is a five star medical facility.

Everything went well except for Front Desk personnel They were more concerned about talking about their personal lives than stopping and fully engaged with customers Did even take time too see I was a past customer to determine what paperwork I NEEDED to review and sign. Other personnel listened to me and was helpful in realizing I should have very limited amount if paperwork Sorry but as a customer I do not want to here your personnel issues or weekend excursion from 20 ft away

It was great Dr Dempsey was great, very professional. My normal wait time is 10 to15 min. To day was approx 30 min due to hurricane Irma was three days ago and the waiting room was. standing room only. Staff kept apologizing for the wait . Which was understandable considering they were closed for a few days but all in all the staff was professional and moved things quickly.

Through all my visits to the Filutowski Instuite the professionalism shown by all the employees has been exceptional. Each and every question has been answered with an explanation easy to understand. The knowledge and experience of the doctors is evident just by the way they treat their patients. All procedures performed were explained in detail prior to the procedure and the follow up received means they really do care. I would highly recommend them to anybody who a need for the services they provide. You will not be glad you called them.

Everyone at the Dr Filutowski Eye Institute has been very professional, courteous and efficient. The results after just one eye procedure of cataract removal and LAZIK surgery has been amazing. Can't wait for the second eye procedure. Dr Filutowski is a must, if you need assistance with your eye correction.
