I was taken early for my appointment. All the girls were very friendly and took time to chat. I spent very little time in the waiting room before being placed in an exam room. Dr. Grossmann came into my room with in minutes and did my exam and then explained his findings and scheduled my next appointment.

First of all the whole staff is out of this world. Other companies need to learn from y'all. Heavenly shows compassion with her patients, she understands them and treats them with respect. She is very informative about the procedure you going to have,she goes over everything from A-Z. What little nervousness I had I no longer have because of her and the rest of the staff. My visit at the Filutowski Eye Institute was a very pleasant one. Atmosphere was pleasant and calming. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. My exam was very thorough. The doctor explained all options. And answered all my questions. I then was taken to a Counselor to set up other appointmenst for surgeries and follow ups. I left feeling confident i had chosen the right place to have my cataract surgery.

I wasn't able to make appt.,but everyone I spoke with to make my appt were very kind and helpful!! I look forward to getting an appt in the future when I will be able to actually get to the facility!! Thank you!!

I’m so glad I went with the Filutowski team for my laser eye correction! My post-op checkup visit went very smooth, even with the COVID-19 pandemic. From entering the building until exiting, the staff were extremely polite. Dr. Grossmann was also very polite and very straightforward. Due to the Covid-19 epidemic I was concerned about my upcoming appointment. I immediately felt safe when I stepped out of my vehicle and was greeted by an employee with mask and gloves this eliminated the need to open a door. My temperature was taken , questions were asked then I was cleared to enter. Receptions were masked, quick and efficient. All through the process I felt my health was of great concern to the group. The technology and staff was first class. The Doctor explained in great detail my eye problems and took the time to answer my questions. He was attentive, looked me in the eye when he explained the pros and cons of surgery. I felt safe, I had made the right decision to seek help with the Filutowski Institute.

Dr Grossmann and Amy were excellent, very helpfull, informative and caring. Everyone else was professional but in the process of the first surgery I felt like a herd of cattle being herded into slaughter. Second surgery seemed somewhat better I was told a new process was instituted.

I had cataract surgery. That went great. Now I have to have Laser surgery to correct why I can’t see close. First I was nearsighted now I am farsighted. Don’t understand that.

My experience was great except the part with Dr. Grossman. He was very condescending, impatient and short. One of my friends is going to make an appointment for evaluation, and I strongly advised him to make it with another one of the optometrists there . I did not like his manners. Very poor .

The care, so far, has been too notch. But once I was told what things would cost, each time I came in, there was this charge added on, that charge added on. This is cell phone & cable pricing: You are given a price when you order the service and, afterwards, they add this fee, that charge, etc. when you get your bill. However, your practice doing it takes thing a step further ... Agreed to a price for the service and THEN come back for more. In case y'all haven't noticed, a large majority of your patients are on a limited, fixed income. Like I need, they all need to know what things are going to cost BEFORE agreeing on getting the service done -OR- you are screwing up their finances.

This is an extremely busy practice and every employee seems to know their job very well. I do think placing my trust in the doctors and staff at this practice is the right thing to do. Two things that I have concerns with: With such a busy practice, does the doctor operating on my precious eyes actually have enough time to analyze my chart and determine what is best for me? He was only in the room with me for 20 minutes or so after I waited a half hour for him to show up. The other thing I don't like is the musical chairs scenario, take a test, go back to chairs, take another test, back to chairs, see the doctor, back to chairs, go to scheduling, back to chairs, etc. It is a little disconcerting to constantly be moved around like this.

Dr. Grossman is great. Very nice and very professional. I was told that next year you would not have the lower strength dilation drops, which is very disappointing to me. My eyes dilate very easily, and the heavier dose leaves my eyes dilated until the next morning. Also, I was confused by the fact that my picture was taken to protect my privacy, but when I was called back, my name was called. If privacy is your goal, a number system would work much better.

Hey - the visit was just terrific - totally professional - but the dilation of my eyes lasted all day - still very difficult to see at midnight. This morning it’s back to normal, but I’ve never had dilated pupils last for an entire day. Please warn next time!

I’m just wondering why my eyes were dilated for 12 hours and I couldn’t read at all? Was fine the next morning.

I am extremely upset about my eye diagnosis. I tried to come in to be seen since last fall and was told i would have to pay out of pocket with no idea how much, depending on tests needed. I heard Dr Grossmann say i was given misinformation. There's nothing can change what happened with me. I'm not interested in suing your firm. I believe it was an honest mistake. But I do want to be sure that " the powers that be" there are made aware of what happened so it doesn't happen to someone else. Thank you. Sherry Stamm

Annual visit completed. The surroundings in the Daytona Beach Office are bright and beautiful. The staff is friendly and courteous. The appointments are on time and thorough. There is always time for a conversation. I never feel rushed. I have been a customer at this office since 2005. That says it all.

It would seem very important that the doctor introduce him self when he walks into the room with a patient. I was somewhat confused about my cataract options with different types of lenses and procedures. I feel like the dr. should look at my measurements and give me options about what's best for me rather than have me decide which measurements i want up front before they take measurements for the best lens for my eye. Very confusing!!

We had a VERY long visit, over 2 hours. You had a patient that was before us that was taking a very long time and we had to wait over 1 hour after initial exam to see the Dr. we were checked on by others but still a long wait. I have not yet received an email to set up a patient portal, I called this am and still not received the email. Otherwise visit was good. We are continue to have eye surgery.

From the moment I spoke with your scheduler (I think her name is Tara) I knew this organization was different than all the others.She actually listened to my plight about the necessity to have my cataract surgery done before the end of the year. She was amazingly helpful in securing the appointments I needed. After completing my surgery yesterday I cannot compliment the entire staff and everyone I came in contact with ENOUGH. From the receptionists, to the techs to the pre-op and post-op staff, and of course the doctor, ALL were amazing . Any eye needs I may have in the future will certainly be taken care if by the Filutowski eye instutute. I highly recommend this organization that runs like a “well oiled machine” it is obvious that the employees are well taken care of as everyone has a smile on their face, extremely professional , and knowledgable.

My experience at Dr. FILATOWSKY This past Monday was excellent. Great job by Dr. GR...and technicians. TKS...I made an appt for next Oct. 2019.

I’m out of town right now but still have questions. Is my right eye going to focus only on distance? I know I am scheduled for the left eye two weeks after the right eye surgery and not sure the second surgery will happen. Guess I’ll see how well I see. I’m also unsure about needing glasses afterward.

The appointment went as well as could be expected. I checked in at the desk and then moved to the waiting room where I was greeted by an assistant and taken to an examining room. She checked my sight and pressures and said the doctor would be in shortly. In less than five minutes the doctor arrived in the examining room where he reviewed the preliminary work and continued with my examination. I was told all looked great and my pressures were great. I was ready to go and will return in six months. A perfect visit and I was on my way home in less than a half hour. It could not have gone any better. Thank you.

Staff from front desk through scheduler everyone was friendly, competent, professional and efficient. This occurred even though because of a typo err on my birthdate at the front desk, and not caught by me since I was here because my reading was degraded, I was entered as a new patient. This was revealed by the lady giving the eye test and she quickly had everything corrected.
