I called stating there was a change in my vision. They made me an emergency appointment. The MD took me right back. They performed tests and determined I had a retinol tare with detachment. They got right to work to get me in to see a specialist. There speed made all the difference and for that I am eternally grateful.

The woman that helped me re-fit my glasses had immense knowledge about glasses sizes and face shapes - she could tell just by looking at me what would work best for my face. Everything was quick and easy. Staff was very polite. It is frustrating though that fashion trends for men’s glasses are leading away from a style that I have for years found to be comfortable for me and that meet my needs for eye glasses as a wildlife biologist actively working in the field and dealing with sunlight reflection issues and the need for corrected, but unimpaired peripheral vision.

Quick and easy consultation and appreciate providing trails when I do not yet have contacts or when I run out them before my next appointment.

The optometry tech who did my testing was so friendly and professional. Every member of staff went out of their way to make sure my family and I felt welcome. Very impressed with the cleanliness of the office. My optometrist was a lovely lady, and she was even sweet to my 9 year old son. If I could give them ten stars for how they treated my husband, son and I, I would.

If you have a reservation system that says you can have an 8:20am appointment, you should arrive at that time and find that they won't have any opticions available in the office for some additional period of time. I just chose to pick up the glasses and leave.

Vicky was so kind and helpful during my visit. I seriously think she was the most helpful person I have ever encountered at an optometrist. The COVID precautions that were taken at the office were great, and I felt very safe. Would recommend to anyone!

The time spent picking up one pair of glasses was quite fast, however I waited 4 weeks and still have not received the second pair.

My eyewear pick up was quick and easy! The staff is friendly and extremely helpful!

Several weeks ago I had them adjusted because they kept slipping. Since then I have been tripping and also fell down our stairs at home. They were adjusted to high leaving sight issues down at my feet. Today Vicky made several adjustments until they are finally correct. Very happy with the adjustment. As experienced in each and every visit, the staff at the EyeCenter are extremely pleasant and timely and get it right the first time .

I've been having strange inexplicable eye-pressure/headache issues that have confounded my PCP, who barely listened to me and ultimately said "I don't know what's wrong with you". So it was night and day for me when EVERYONE here listened to me, from the moment I came through the door, and get this- Dr. Lynch had the issue figured out within MOMENTS! My biggest regret is not coming in sooner, and I'm already feeling so much better even though its only been a few days. Thank you to everyone who helped!!

The Doctor I seen, which I apologize that her name has slipped my mind, was very nice, she listened & really seemed to care. Everyone there was very friendly & helped a lot in picking out the best glasses for me. i.e. frames & lenses.

Check in was prompt and courteous...followed by a five minute wait ... Eye Technician was well experienced, professional and answered all my questions to my satisfaction without hesitation.

Dr. Cohen is fabulous as usual, however the front staff needs work. I came back an hour later to pick out glasses, asked if there was a list of VSP covered frames and was told to wait for the other receptionist, orange hair, to get off the phone. After she was done with her phone call, I waited for 5 more minutes just to see her slumped in her chair, yawning, with a displeasing look on her face. I got tired of waiting so so just asked for a copy of my prescription to which I could barely hear her and she had a rude tone. I’ve been seeing Dr Cohen for years and have never had an issue with any of the staff until today

I wouldn't do the student doctor again. I had to have my eyes hit with the light over and over for the pictures. Then the eye doctor shinned light in my eyes and turned up the light and had the student doctor shine light in my eyes. I was so blind I could not see the letters at all with left eye. My eyes are still sore two days later.

Everyone was very helpful. My last name is hard to search by but the receptionist did find me. I have new insurance but they were good at updating everything and walking me through benefits. Had a good exam with the doctor and the optician and the one shadowing him were friendly with me picking out new frames. Will be a patient again!

The staff were truly professional starting with the front desk receptionist. Our eye exams were very thorough and the optometrist did an excellent job explaining the exam. She also explained to my wife and I the type of prescription we currently have, and what is really needed. This will be our place for future eye exams.

We loved Dr. Coen and the his assistant.. everything about our appointment with them was great. I didn’t love was that other patients were not wearing masks while trying on glasses or wearing mask below their nose. I guess it’s not really their fault, but they could have enforced the mask mandate better in my opinion.

Dr. Coen was great! The eye exam was exceptionally good and informative. Loved the way he explained all the details of the exam. The optician was exceptional in helping me choose frame style and helping me explore other style options. I am glad my son and daughter-in-law recommended Eye center. Excellent experience. However, one thing: I was surprised at the net cost of glasses after insurance benefits. My choices ranged from $550-750 out-of-pocket. I wen t Costco's net cost was less than $200 for even one of their most expensive, yet comparible frames. Unfortunately, despite the excellent service, and perhaps slightly better product, with the cost being well more than double, I will need to be choosing Costco. I know a Kia is less than half the price of a Mercedes, but I can't see that kind of difference in the glasses since my last pair came from Costco and worked well for me. Again, Eyecenter is great, better than my former eye doctor, and I will be recommending to my friends. Thank you.

Dr Palmer Lee had excellent communication and patient rapport. He asked me several questions, listened carefully and was very patient and thorough in figuring out my vision issues (which were not straightforward). I have confidence in his assessment. Cassandra then assisted with the measurements for the progressive lenses. I was pleased with the amount of time they spent and appreciated receiving clear answers to my questions.

I have been a patient with Eye Center (Gold River) for 5-6 years and I always look forward to Dr Coen. He always gives me top notch service. He has such a pleasant and caring demeanor. Usually I just order contacts, on this last visit i was also interested in getting some new glasses, but I was thinking of using a 3rd party. Dr Coen went above and beyond and showed me different frame options in the show room that were on special. Casandra finished up helping me with selection and paperwork. She was very friendly and helpful. I ended up buying TWO sets of designer frames and contacts from Eye Center. I had my appt on Thursday and my contacts were delivered to my home on Monday!

I was very pleased with my exam and everything I received during my visit. However when I told that to my husband )who referred me) he told me that the whole time I was getting my exam he had been poking at glasses then sat and waited at a table with two pairs of glasses in front of him and no one ever said a word to him. We moved to Rancho Cordova a few years ago and after some research, I decided to try out EyeCenter. From the start, they were friendly, professional, and efficient. And my doctor is kind and patient and answers questions. My children are now patients as well. Recently, I had an issue with making it to the Gold River location by closing time to pick up my daughter's glasses and their receptionist offered to take them to Citrus Heights location on her way home so we could go on a Saturday to get them. Worked out great! I highly recommend this group!

Each person I worked with was lovely - thorough, caring and made it enjoyable. Working as one team - aligning and respecting each person’s role - needs work. Dr, frame specialist and front desk were a bit misaligned and felt in conflict. I heard 3 different people express frustration with a member of the team during my experience. When you Invest more time to align as one team working towards the same goal and respect the expertise of each team member - the experience will be that much better for your customers!!

I came in to get an eye exam and was also curious about getting contacts. Dr. Lilley was very informative and helpful in helping me make the decision to get some contacts. Unfortunately, they did not have contacts in my prescription and had to put an order in. I'm looking forward to working with one of the assistants to help train me in wearing my new contacts.

The optometrist assistant that did the retinal and other test was really friendly. The doctor explained throngs well and gave some good advice on what’s best for me based on the status of my eye.

Just had my annual eye exam at EYEcenter Gold River. The front desk ladies are always pleasant at check in time. They take care of Admin business and offer me a nice cup of coffee. Dr. Lee did a very thorough exam, answered all of my questions, and gave me the good news....no new prescription. I took care of the financial business, helped myself to two ..(Ha Ha ) pieces of Holloween candy, and will see you again next year. You have my 2 Thumbs Up for excellent service!

Dr Cohen was very patient in helping me with changing contacts & finding what he thinks will work best for me. However I called this morning to check on my new contacts & it appears they had not been ordered. I was seen on Tuesday 30 th. This has happened before & don’t understand why there is not follow up by someone?

Although the optician is very nice she didn’t have the information on the different options I could use to get new lenses in my current frames without giving up my glasses for apx. 2 weeks. I got that info from Terrie after the fact.

Very efficient and still personable! When picking out my glasses I was even shown frames that fit what I was looking for that were not on the public display. I was very happy with the selection frames. Dr. Lee answered all of my questions and I was happy with him and all of the staff!

This was my first visit to this office and I was very pleased with the service I received.

Everyone was very helpful, many years of experience. I have been to other eye Drs. And had to make several trips to find a comfortable contact lens only to stay with my original lens, which were not really working for me. Dr Lee and his staff found a good lens the first try. I will stick with the eye Center, a little more pricey but you can get your prescription and purchase elsewhere if you choose.

The eye center and the doctor I saw really helped me with the problem I was having with my new sun glasses. I left a happy camper. I also learned something I did not know about the eye center - they are not just for getting new glasses. These doctors are trained to detect eye problems and some insurance companies cover the visit - mine was one that does so I will go there in the future instead of my primary doctor.

I came in yesterday with scratched lenses - told Trish about it-within 2 minutes she had ordered replacements which would be ready in about 2 weeks and I was out the door. I don't think it gets any better than that. Excellent customer service by a person that knows exactly what she's doing. I appreciate that!
