I have been in medical field myself for over 30 yrs, My Dr is great , techs/assistant need to have more EMPATHY ... after having a Laser surgery was partially blind and discomfort unable to ambulate by myself , NOBODY offered to help me to ambulate back to the waiting room, until I Requested to call my husband to come and help me....I am fairly young but I think if this happen with elderly patients (which I saw are many ) is a high risk for falls ....Offering Help to a patient specially after a procedure is always Nice ...Thank you

I can only report that my experience was fantastic. My second eye took about 30 minutes from arrival to departure. Since I am a heavy "Blinker" I was concerned, but thanks to the crew and Dr. Rothstein they worked their magic, with excellent results.

First, the receptionist and her supervisor were helpful in explaining that a medical appointment and a VSP appointment could not be made on the same day because of insurance rules. The rest of the medical checkup went smoothly, ending with a detailed examination by Dr. Myers who clearly explains in detail the results and what they mean.

I'm a wimp when it comes to eye pressure tests. And I have light sensitivity issues and small eyes so it can be quite a challenge for me as well as the administer. The woman who performed the test this time was a pro. She kept the contact time short and didn't have to resort to holding my eyes open. She shielded my eyes from light when administering drops. Dr. Woolford is very good and her diagnosis is right on. My meeting gave me the confidence to speak with the surgeons for a difficult double operation on my left eye. If the rest of my care is good as my Visits so far, I will be one happy patient.

My technician carefully reviewed her testing to ensure the visuals were accurate before sending the results to the surgeon. I appreciated her not rushing through this process. . I have enjoyed working with Dr PeterAndrews over the past years. He takes the time to ensure that I understand. He is not afraid of delivering the truth to me. From that point, we worked together to outline a care plan that both of us approved.

Everyone involved tried their best to help me, and they did. My doctor and nurse were skilled and compassionate. I haven’t resolved my issue, but that is due to my inability to let them help me. I’m better, though. I will moniter my progress.

I have actually told some people I actually enjoy the treatment I receive when there. Several have told me that they had gone to your clinic and liked the one on one treatment they have received. No confusion, questions answered in a timely manner and if the person working with them can't answer them, they get someone who can get the answer for them.

I liked having one technician do all my tests before seeing the doctor. In the past I was shuffled from one to another. I thought there was more continuity this way. Also, the wait time was reasonable.

I came in with a chronic eye irritation problem that has been ongoing for 2-3 years. I had visited my regular opthamologist several times over the past couple of years with no resolution. Dr. Verner diagnosed the problem as a plugged tear duct and within a few minutes had flushed out the duct and my eye felt better than it had in years. Amazing. I will be back.

Reception is pretty impersonal. Gave me the feeling that this is basically the McDonald's of eye care: get 'em in, get the money, get 'em out. I was nervous about having laser surgery and that didn't help. Doctor was good. Explained procedure and offered to do it that day, saving me another visit. Unfortunately, left me sitting in a horizontal chair for about 15 minutes with no one around, before doctor came back and started the procedure. My eye feels fine and there haven't been any problems, so I'm happy overall.

To be told right when you walk in to your appointment that you owe $45 for a refraction fee not covered by our insurance carrier being Medicare and Cigna Supplement which is NOT deemed a medically necessary treatment is outrageously absurd, not to be covered by Medicare and/or medical insurance supplements! Not being able to see/read/write checks, etc. would be detrimental to our health/economics/& banking exercises welfare!!! Help please by lobbying for better coverage for the elderly. Dr. Tilton Performed all of the procedures necessary for the injection into my eye that has macular degeneration while keeping me feeling comfortable. The whole situation at EYE CARE CENTER is very efficient and caring.

Everything with the staff was wonderful. However, the smell in the lobby hits you in the face as soon as you walk in the door. It actually smells like denture breath. Perhaps you need to put an ozone generator in the lobby at night to absorb the smells.

Dr. Meyer performed an eye procedure and I'm greatly pleased with my increased unobstructed vision. I'm relocating after 12 years being a patient at the eyecare center and I will miss the whole staff greatly.

Many tests done to check my eyes. Only comment, too much time waiting between tests. The last one had a ten minute wait for a ten second question.

This may be the trade off for the thoroughness of the examination that is done once you do get in for your exam. After suffering for two weeks with conjunctivitis and other issues I had next day relief after seeing the Dr at the Eye care center. Previous visits to urgent care yielded little to no relief and the problems seemed to get a little worse each day

As this was my first visit, I was very impressed. My visit was to determine if I needed cataract surgery. When Amanda called my name and looked over my medical history, she immediately noticed I was taking the drug Ethambutol and tested me for color blindness. She was very concerned about the results and had three different tests performed on me. She then said cataracts were not as important as my color vision problem. She then said I should see Dr. Kanoff instead of a cataract doc. Due to her astute alertness of my condition, Dr kanoff consulted my infectious doc and she agreed to stop the Ethambutol. Thank You, Amanda.

It was very early and both doctors and staff were happy and easy going. The doctor I saw was very thorough and hopefully the contact lenses will work out. I’ve had very bad eyesight and opted for LASIK after dry eyes prevented me from wearing them all day. Skiing and mountain biking at my level gets tricky when you can’t see clearly. Time will tell how all this works out though I feel confident he will do better than the previous contact fitter from a different place.

Nice, competent, and friendly staff. They will say your glasses are ready and that you can pick them up without an appointment, but there is a sign in sheet and you have to wait - sometimes quite a while. They should allow appointments to pick up and have glasses adjusted.

It was an pleasure seeing Dr. Rothstein as always. It was a pleasant experience from beginning to end.

My experience with Dr. Krone and staff was outstanding. His assistant answered my questioning and her explanations were easily understood. I was also happy with the optometrist and her on-the-spot research for sunglasses that that can be ground to my prescription. The sunglasses are wrap-around used for sport with a shape that blocks out peripheral sunlight and its reflections on the glass's lenses. Finally able to get this kind of sunglasses

The doctor I saw was great. The layout of the building is super confusing as a first time visitor, which seems to lead to staff having to yell across the lobby for patients. Also, the forms have a ton of redundancy in them, as I entered the same information over and over again. Despite filling out the forms ahead of time and arriving early, I was then verbally asked the same questions I filled out multiple times on my forms. This feedback is not out of irritation at all, as I understand that this happens, but to help your process and save your staff time. Thank you for the great visit!

I had scheduled an appt for what I thought was an annual eye exam, and to discuss concerns over extreme dry eyes. I did NOT have a comprehensive eye exam, but met with Dr Meyers about my dry eyes. I was informed I have Floppy Eyelids, which was drying out my eyes @ night and causing irritation on underside of eyelids. He recommended treatment with ophthalmic gel drops. Doing as recommended, I've noticed considerable improvement in just 5 days.

After a six month absence between appointments, three employees greeted me by name, and one technician named Steve came over and shook my hand. I like that. It’s easy to schedule an appointment at the Eye Care Center, Dr. Andrews is “on time” and wait times are short. No billing or insurance issues. None. Dr. Andrews listens, explains each procedure, the pros and cons, then follows up, and provides only the care he thinks is right. He includes me in the treatment decision. I’m pretty happy with my experience at Eye Care Center of Northern Colorado.
