Phenomenal service by Dr. Hsiao Hishono and the admin staff (Myra)! Truly cant thank them enough, as well as Dr. Janice Lee from Gentle Dental, who referred me!!! Dental World was able to fit me in an emergency situation the day I needed urgent care and right before the Xmas Holiday. Had the unfortunate experience of splitting a tooth with a crack that extended below the gum line. Dr. Hsiao Hoshino talked me through her diagnosis and the prognosis. She could easily have convinced me to conduct an exploratory procedure for a root canal that would've cost hundreds, but rather Dr. Hishono gave me her honest, straight forward, and much appreciated opinion to pursue the needed tooth extraction. She did this while communicating in laymans language that a simpleton like me could understand. Along with Dr. Lee (Gentle Dental), Dr. Hishono hooked me up with a great referral to an oral surgeon, Dr. Abraham from Island Oral, who was able to fit me in mornin before Xmas. Again, awesome service. Despite the unfortunate timing and circumstances, these Dental professionals and their staff were EXCEPTIONAL!!! Mahalo nui loa. I appreciate you all. I have been having alot sensitivity on my entire top teeth and have. Even calling all over for someone to see me and alot of the clinics were booked and could not see me until next week however Dental world Kapolei fit me into their schedule. And after the visit I found out that I needed a root canal and filling they were able to book me that same day and also move up my appointment when it was set for a later time they called and stated that they could see me sooner. I am very please with the hospitality front desk/receptionist, along with Dr. Gilbert Ing and his aide who did my check up to find out what was wrong with me and found the problem, Dr. Hsiao-Ling Hoshino who did my root canal quickly and effectively. The staff was patient and helpful, Dr Ing was knowledgeable and he made and explained a specific plan for treatment/to move forward. He listened to my problems and considered all options without jumping to conclusions. I felt heard and respected throughout the process, which was important since I was in so much pain and just wanted answers and a plan to move forward. I recently had a very disappointing visit with a different practice who dismissed my issues, so this visit with Dr. Ing meant a lot to me!

Hello, yes, I already completed a feedback survey on Yelp but happy to do so again: Due to a lack of professionalism and poor service, we determined it would not be in our best interest stay with the first practice we selected. After careful research and review, Dental World piqued our interest so we decided to make a switch. Now that we have had the pleasure of meeting and being examined by Doctor Ing, we're now convinced that we made the right decision. Not only does he exude professionalism and technical competence, he actually cares and takes the time to explain his prognosis in layman's terms. By comparison, our former dentist performed a cursory examination with perceived indifference while keeping a close eye on the clock. Obviously, he was much more interested in production and meeting quotas so as to maximize earnings rather than patient care. Dental World epitomizes what other dental clinics should strive for. We found your entire staff to be courteous, hospitable, and efficient. We are happy to have made the switch but wish we had found you sooner. His explanations of procedures are concise, his concern for your comfort is exemplary and we (my husband and I) are very satisfied with the outcome of all our dental work done so far (crowns, root canals, fillings, cleaning). Friendly, informative staff. The complete teeth cleaning procedure was totally explained. The tech provided great information on what to do on a daily basis. Although it was optional, I’m glad they have the fluoride treatment, which I took advantage.

Everything except tell me how much my tooth would hurt after the local wore off. I was miserable for the night. It’s too bad Drs and Dentists are too afraid of the DEA to prescribe a few narcotcics to make their patient comfortable post op. You don’t get addicted to narcotics when you are actually in pain. Even the doctors I am very satisfied how they handle their job, I had my root canal last year and never encountered pain all during procedure and it was done very gently, and the doctor too he will check your gums, checks , tongue and etc if there is a problem . All services I received on my first appointment was very well done from x-rays, teeth cleaning, and doctor's evaluation. The thing that impressed me the most was the cost I will pay to have my chipped teeth repaired; it's $30.00 less than my previous dentist.

I arrived at 2:45 pm, was seated in the chair ready to go by 2:55 pm, chatted with Erin a bit as she explained the cleaning plan then cleaning commenced at 3 pm. It was like clock work. My next appointment was scheduled by Erin upon completion of cleaning while I’m still in the chair, very efficient.

Always a positive experience with Dr Ing and his staff!

All of the staff are welcoming and the facility is immaculate. Importantly, everyone thoroughly explained the processes and ensured my comfort at every step of the way. My dentist is simply the very best in explaining conditions, outcomes, and alternatives--and a professional and caring demeanor is comforting. New to the island and my first visit, I'm very happy to find a first-class dental office!

Tatiana was awesome. She definitely is very genuine to everybody that comes in. Also Dr. Ing and the assistant, sorry can’t remember her name, but they made me feel very comfortable. Awesome overall experience.

I never thought I’d say that I really enjoyed my vista time the dentist, but here I am. The entire team at Kapolei Dental World made the process as painless as possible, both literally and figuratively. From the warm welcome at reception, to hygienist Sharon’s gentle yet effective cleaning, to meeting and consulting with the doctor.

I love everyone at Dental World!! Everyone is always so welcoming, so energetic and they treat me like family!!! Yesterday was my 4th visit and they all make me feel like I’ve been seeing them for 20yrs. I love you guys Team Dental World Kapolei!!

The practice is very clean and modern. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. Dr. Ing is very good at what he does and walkthrough patients about dental procedures.

Clean, professional, friendly, and efficient. Just moved back to Hawaii from Cali and came in as a new patient for annual exam and teeth cleaning. The hygienist was terrific. Both Doc and hygienist were thorough and verbally walked me through the exam, explaining the x-ray, why they recommended treatment, results of exam; I really liked that. Definitely found my new dentist office.

Really enjoy the friendly staff, from receptionist greating when walk in the dooe to dental hygienist and dentist (Dr Ing). My appointment time meant time to go back. From time I waljed in door, 5 minutes to scheduled appt, to sitting in dentist chair was about 6 minutes. Appt went geeat.

I had a great experience having a root canal done. No pain, discomfort, or swelling during or after the procedure. Thank you Dr. Hoshino

I would like to highly recommend Dental World Kapolei. Dr. Ing put my trust back. After my traumatic experience way back to my past Doctor going to the dentist seem like a nightmare for me. So I ignore all my pain and just take some pain medicine. But this past few weeks it hurt so bad and can't sleep no more. No orajel or pain med works so I went to yelp and look for a dentist, After thorough reading nothing stand out but Dental World Kapolei. I gave them a call and Tatiana answered it she is very accomodating helpful and so friendly she scheduled my appointment, help me understand the proccess. Unfortunately I called back again the following day to reschedule it for earlier and Quinton helped me with that He assured that I can have appointment Monday. Thank you Quinton. So just today I met Dr Ing he is such a very nice person, so calm and he help me understand whats happening to my teeth. Ms Merlyn is so awesome too. She helped Dr. Ing. Both of them assure that everything will be fine and nothing to worry about. Ms Merlyn also gave me sunglasses to avoind the light. They both so professional so kind and warm,make me comfortable during the procedure. Dr. Ing always tell me what he is doing and always check if Im alright at first I was so nervous but eventually I feel so relax. Honestly I almost fell asleep. Dr Ing's hand is so gentle. Now its time to go home and rest, Thank you Dr Ing, Merlyn, Tatiana and Quinton. Guys check the Dental World Kapolei, believed me! They so incredible! 100%

I have not been to the dentist for years and Dental World made me feel very comfortable and less anxious.

I thought that every step of the way I was given very detail information on what my options were and I liked that I was able to see pictures of my damage teeth before and when it was fixed. I learned a lot about my teeth and gums in this visit vs all my other experiences at other dental clinics

Awesome place. Very high tech. Awesome staff and Dr. Gilbert Ing rocks!!! Had him as my pediatric dentist and now 20 years later I found him again. As a child he stuck out as a a very gentle dentist. Location is also very convenient as its right in the Kapolei Market place by quiznos.
