Dr. Weinberger always conducts a detailed examination, and explains issues/concerns with me. The eyewear specialists are phenomenal at working in conjunction with me to find the RIGHT glasses, and explain various types of lenses, polarized, various tints, etc.

Very knowledgeable and highly personable staff, great selection, highly individualized and precise service. While they’re more expensive than the retail chains, I can count on the prescription being accurate, and the lenses expertly made. And, the service doesn't end there... I know I can return whenever I need to have the frames adjusted. In the past, I’ve had my retail-chain glasses checked by Croton Vision Center and was shocked to learn how faulty they were. Do your eyes a favor, get your glasses made correctly.

Dr Mccann is very supportive, competent and Offers explanations when necessary. We like him! I do think that the advice on frames and fees Should not push $400 choices and then only when the client objects to high prices is another tray pulled out with less expensive ones. It happened that Titanium frames were available at a much lower price when the sales person originally said that Titanium frames were only available at $400 or so misleading me to think that another choice Was not available for that. Only when I said that I would not choose titanium did she find a tray of lower prices and then said Oops...there is a titanium frame here at a lower price. After all that and when I went to pay with Insurance benefits the salesperson then said that I might not get my benefit but she did not say that when I selected the frames. Fortunately the manager agreed that my insurance benefit could be subtracted. Also the first price estimate was an attempt To charge me $150 extra for coating when it was already included in my package. This is the second annual visit when prices were given too high and seemingly arbitrarily Given or the sales. Person was confused.(two different persons in two years) Even with our good experience with DrMccann if prices are jacked up and Unreasonable we would go elsewhere. Otherwise we want to stay with Dr Mccann!

The exam was quick and (mostly) painless, especially for my first eye exam in almost 10 years. Dr. Weinberger was very thorough. The woman who helped my pick out my new frames was very knowledgeable and not pushy. She spent about 20 minutes with me trying on different frames and let me know when a set fit my face or not.

Well I showed up about 20 minutes early. Everyone was glad I was early and I’m that time they help me with picking out glasses and figuring the best deal I could get.. everyone was super friendly and helpful. I ended up with two pair one being my own frame but I got a deal to have progressive lens in my pair for half price. The doctor was great as he remembered me and know what my issue was right away.. I will continue to back there in the future..

My son and I had appointments on the same day a half hour apart. Unfortually we ran into traffic and missed our first appointment. When we got there my son was seen and I thought I would have to reschedule. The doctor was wonderful with my son. When my son was done the doctor came out and said he would see me. I was surprised but thankful. The staff was very friendly and so helpful with helping us choose our glasses. They have a very large selection of frames. Most important the staff was very knowledgeable about my insurance coverage.

Dr. McCann as always is great. 5 stars. But rated the overall visit as 4 because of the service of one of the staff after the exam. In that case 1 star. Extremely disappointed in the person who helped me after the exam. She had no clue what she was doing. Told me that my current lenses would need to be “cut out of my frames” since I wanted them replaced. I told her how ridiculous that was. And did she expect me to walk around without any glasses until the new lenses arrived. She need help from one of the other employees to fill out the new order and to explain that the new lenses could be replaced in my existing frames once they arrived. She then gave me the wrong cost. Did not look at me when she spoke with me. Given that she wore a doctor’s mask, her words were garbled and I had to ask her to repeat what she said and to speak more clearly. I have been going to this office for years. All previous experiences with the office employees have been great. In the future I will ask for someone other than she to help me. Really awful.

I brought my mom for an eye exam not knowing what to expect but everyone in the office was friendly, plus my mom was very satisfied with her eye exam and she is very happy with her new glasses. I would surely recommend this office to anyone that's looking for an optometrist.

Appointment was handled in a timely manner with reminders sent out prior to scheduled date/time. Thorough exam with all questions answered as asked.

Dr McCann was kind, funny and gentle in his interactions with my son, this being his first thorough eye exam, being nervous would have been expected but my child walked out of the office smiling and confident and saying later, the eye exam equipment was "so cool".

I called when I was running late and I was reminded with my appointment time was and then when I got to the office they consult with the doctor and worked out how I could still be accommodated even know I was late for my appointment by 15 minutes. Thank you

Eye exam was thorough, but am waiting to hear of availability of light copper glass KB polarized lens or alternative KB light-colored non-grey glass lens to wear in low light. Also I want to speak with Dr. Weinberger about my cataracts.
