I was very late for appt. and the entire staff was very courteous about it. Staff all had very nice personalities and seemed to genuinely care about my well being. Doctor Laro was super as always with a very firm understanding of my situation as well as how to alleviate my problem. The entire process was made so much better by how great everyone treated me - very professional and friendly!! My experience could not have been better!!

What was done well...everything! - starts with the receptionist who is delightful, professional, efficient and very approachable with a welcoming smile... - waiting area is cozy, attractive and comfortable (and lets not 4get there is coffee/water for us early risers)... - clinical and administrative staff are always pleasant and smiling ... - my hygienist is an 'angel in disguise', she took exceptional care of me and did it in a professional/warming/human and humorous manner...and then she introduced me to "the warming blanket" and it was love to the Nth power at first touch. I mean really people...all the stress/anxiety/fear just melted away leaving only complete calm and relaxation from head to toe...it is a wonderful addition to the treatment experience. - and then, when my personal hero Dr. Laro started tx with the shots, she gently took my hand to give me that extra 'you got this' reassurance that helped distract from getting the shot... - Dr Laro's chair-side manner is unmistakably one of the best in the business (talented/calming/interactive/humorous and as professional as it can be)...and oh, did I forget to say that his expertise is over the moon...duh - the clinical and administrative team makes every visit much more pleasant than one could/would ever imagine... While the reason for a visit to their practice is rarely a 'fun' choice, i will tell anyone that once you are there, it will be a comprehensive/calming/reassuring and expert experience....and you may even find yourself smiling several times.

Everyone was GREAT! Explained everything in detail; answered my questions. During the procedure Dr. laro kept checking to see if I needed a break and that I was comfortable. They gave me a "goodie" bag with super soft food for my first post-op meal. Didn't have to fill my pain medicine. I'm feeling great!

The cleaning and exam services were their usual high quality. The down side this visit was that the office seemed to be in disarray. I was there at 9:45 as requested for x-rays before the 10 am appt. I sat in the waiting room until 10:15 or a bit later without a word being said to me. Then the cleaning was done first and the x-rays last. I didn't get out until about 11:30. Hope this was a one of a kind experience.

I had (3) abscessed teeth which required immediate attention. I was referred to Dr. Poston in West Ashley. Two of the teeth had to be extracted. Dr. Poston performed the surgery the same day and the procedure was basically pain free. Kathy, his assistant also played a major role. The entire staff are assets to the practice. Incidentally, Dr. Poston called me the day after surgery to check on me which I appreciate.

Despite having a very infected upper back molar removed (and it broke into pieces during the extraction, resulting in the roots needing to be dug out individually and the infection scraped off my bones all the way up to my sinus!) The office is beautiful and all of the staff are friendly and helpful. Of note is that I always try to get an appointment at 10 a.m. or later. Early appointments in my experience run into lots of traffic.
