I live the new location and it seems more focused on general surgery and certainly less crowded in the reception area. I felt like I was treated warmly, friendly and personally. The reception area was updated and ample seating. The front desk folks were professionally and courteous . I had an appt with Dr Johnson and was very pleased with his RN plus his approachable personality. I immediately knew he would take care of me and really made me feel comfortable.

Had a follow-up app't with Dr. N. Jones after he tended me while I was in the hospital for a recurring post surgical issue from years ago. Can't say enough positive about him. Of course, he was professional and knowledgeable but there were so many other extra things he did that were a pleasant surprise; e.g., down to earth and calmly conversational, answered every question without condescension, offered further info about questions that we hadn't thought to ask, acted like he'd talk to us for the rest of the morning as if he had no other patients, etc., etc. Don't let this one get away !!

Good morning :😊 I had an appointment with Dr “Z” Zavadzkas yesterday at 1 o’clock. Receptionist was very nice and the young lady who took me back , was one of my former reading students! Wow what a blessing she was very thorough and personable 😊 I didn’t have to wait long and I am a great fan of Dr “Z”, as he saved my life with emergency surgery almost 2 years ago! 🙏🙏. On a rainy day when lingering in the lobby was desirable, I felt completely welcome and encouraged "to ride out the rain and have a cup of coffee." I did just that while I admired the beautiful, calming surroundings and the cheerful, capable, upbeat employees at the desk. I realized that I had made a mistake on the app. I had arranged, double-scheduling in my personal plans. There was no problem to facilitate a request change. Since returning home, I have not been able to access the registration listed for computer access. Also, Dr. Merritt has a calming manner with her patients. I did not feel rushed through the appointment. Thank you for this opportunity to share "the good word" about your office and staff.

Everyone from the front desk to the staff were helpful and pleasant. I did have to wait on Dr. Johnson but when he did come in he was interested in me and took time to answer any questions and give me my next step. He reminded me to eat mostly proteins and vegetables.

Although we don't like going to the doctor's - it is much easier to go when you are received by people with pleasant and smiling faces. We feel more like friends than patients. What a wonderful group of people work at the Carolina Center for General Surgery - I would not have any reservations for referring someone to go there. Thanks to everyone!

Today I received an ultra sound of my right leg .But not the first time. For the last year and a half, I have been receiving treatment with another Carteret Vascular company , and could never admit that the problem was there ,they say it was from my back. There ultra sound tech gave me 4 tests that each lasted no more then 20 minutes. But Steve worked very hard to find a problem. and was successful. Thank you for your hard work and thank you Doctor Jones for your determination to solve this problem.

I arrived for my appointment approximately 10 minutes before scheduled time. My sheet to check medications was right at the receptionist's station - I reviewed it and was called back for my appointment. It went quickly and I was out of the door 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Everyone I talked to was very cheerful and happy - made my day to have smiles and best wishes.
