Staff was professional yet friendly. Each step of the exam was explained and time waiting to be seen by Doctor was reasonable. As I was checking out, I was asked if I was interested in enrolling in their online Portal and I was given written information needed to to do that. I was also offered a pair of dark sunglasses to protect my eyes from the sunlight.

First time I went there...the doc was in a bad mood..He ended up yelling at me and I at him :/( Do not recomend Doctor Luxenberg). My cat's vet treats his patients better! I have never seen a doctor who is so approachable, most knowledgeable, pleasant, most empatheic and sympathetic, most determined and patient, so kind who takes all the time needed in his assessement and treatnent of my 10-month old chemosis triggered by simple eyelids surgery, guess anything could happen in any surgery. He was so determined, unfaltering in seeing my condition through, when just awhile back I was so desperate and so very depressed, almost losing hope dealing with my condition the way it’s gotten worse, specially having seen two other eye specialists that resulted in nothing, no improvements that at one point I thought it might turn into cancer or worse, blindness. It lead me to search the internet where I found the right kind of specialist and having recommended by my surgeon as well, Dr. Robert Applebaum turned it around, I was sooo relieved with joy, I couldn’t contain my happiness and satisfaction. I’ve used all superlatives in my description of Dr. Robert Applebaum befitting his knowlegde and skills in my opinion as the recipient of his class act expertise, if i could describe him in just two words - brilliant and a God-send. Thank you so very much for your kind dedication in seeing my condition through! I don’t even do surveys on-line but maybe just one couldn’t hurt for a very bright doctor. Thank you very much again!

We like the doctor and all of his staff. However, the shortest amount of time we have ever waited is an hour and a half. Usually, it’s two and half to three hours. The wait time is the biggest issue we have.

The doctor's assistants did a nice job explaining what they were doing as they did their testing. Dr. Munger took his time to answer my questions. One of the medical staff called me back shortly after I left a message about one of my concerns.

Dr Chen was amazing with my 4yr old son! He immediately took to her and her speaking Spanish to him was a huge plus! She was able to quickly diagnose his issue and now we feel more at ease as my little guy starts VPK knowing his peepers will be better! The quick check in/out process was also helpful for this on the go Momma.

Your staff are pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable. Only two things: 1. Wait is sometimes a bit long. Especially true at surgery. 2. You should provide every cataract patient a chart specific to each doctors protocol to check off their eye drops. I created one for myself and gave Dr. Samy a copy. But your patients shouldn't have to do this. If it is important it should be provided by the practice.

I really like Doctor Alonzo. My only complaint are the wait times. I saw the doctor almost one hour after my scheduled appointment time. My previous appointment two weeks ago I saw the doctor two hours after my scheduled appointment time.

I can never understand when my eye pressure is measured that the associate performing the test never will tell me what the pressure was. it is just a simple reading, like BP or temperature, and does not need any explanation. Am I not capable of handling the news? Now the Dr. does tell me, but I have to remember to ask.

FL Eye was able to make a same day appointment. The appointment ran fairly efficiently, given that several tests were run. Dr. Reeves thoroughly explained the diagnosis and I found that helpful and professional. All the techs from start to finish were professional and pleasant.

My cataract surgery went really well, Dr. Henderson was fantastic did an amazing job. I was very nervous but was quickly put to ease, by the doctor and his staff. Job well done. They make you feel comfortable and are not rushed. Would recommend them to anyone.

The front office staff was very courteous and prompt getting everyone checked in. The medical assistants were also very courteous and patient with my elderly father during the consultation. I appreciate the support staff. They really made a positive experience out of what is typically a tedious visit.

I had an accident 2 years ago and lost vision of my right eye turning to be legally blind... After seen several doctors who would give me not much hope and would not do a surgery.. I found all my hope at Florida Eye Institute. Dr Patel who immediately said Yes, he can do it! Surgery was very successful ... And it didn’t stop there, a month later went on surgery on left eye with Dr Rathinasamy (known as Dr Samy) Now on both eye I’m 20/20 (left eye is 20/20 and right eye is 20/30 which is bettrr than been blind... I first thank God I’m alive from a horrible accident and Extremely appreciated by Fliorida Eye Institute for their care and helping me getting my sight back.... God bless all the employees...

I have been going to the Brandon office for over a year, from the time I enter the building to the time I leave, the professionalism of the whole staff is incredible, everybody knows what they are doing in all there different jobs and treat you as you are the only person there, but trust me they have a many, many more patients coming and going throughout the day. Have a question, it gets answered no matter what it is, I can highly recommend this office and the people who work there.

Every thing was good except that elevator was not working and my wife had problem going to second floor.

The doctor was very knowledgeable and explained in detail. He answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. I knew I needed help, but was apprehensive about the procedure. He gave me all of the time that I needed. The staff was also helpful and informative. Now that the procedure is done, I am extremely happy with it. I’m glad the I came here and had it done here. I would recommend everyone to at least talk to Dr. Henderson.

This office is very well organized & everyone is pleasant. I left my insurance card at home. I was afraid I would need to reschedule. But, Brenda suggested that I ask my husband to take a picture & text it to me. She then showed me how to access it & send it to her. Learned something new today! Everyone goes out of their way to make sure I know what is happening at each procedure. The cashier, Marizia (I think that us her name) is very gracious! I have been a patient here for over 20 yrs. I have seen many doctors & always felt they were very professional & took the time for me to understand the results of their examination & test results.

I didn’t have to wait very long to see the doctor. Dr Chen and her assistant were very professional and took time to thoroughly explain and answer our questions regarding my upcoming procedure.

Everyone is so kind and while I know it is necessary for some wait time, I feel it is not excessive. Dr Samy explain very carefully what he did and made me feel much more comfortable for a favorable outcome.

Dr. Chen is a true professional. She explained everything in a way that was clear and made me feel I had enough information to make a decision. She also saved me about 5k in treatment that wasn't needed. Instead she recommended a more practical approach that in the ends, turns out had nothing to do with her eyes. She performed the test so swiftly, I don't think my 8 year old even noticed. I am so grateful. Kind professional highly knowledge respectful. From no on if I have a concern with my eyes. Your thoroughness is great. I feel like I get a good analysis of my eyes. If 2 hours is a standard completion time I guess I have nothing to complain about. My appointment was for 10 I was called in about 10:45. It took an hour after that. I just hate it when people don't feel my time is not valuable.

I really wish Dr. Fouraker would stop scheduling so many patients for the same time slot.

I arrived at 12:20 for my 1:30 appt.I had printed out the new patient forms from the website and had those ready and filled out when I arrived. I was called into the inner from waiting room close to 2:00 pm. Went through eye checkup and dilation drops and taken to 2nd waiting room. Was called into doctors room apprx. 3:10 and the assistant came in the room about 3:40 and apologized for taking so long. The doctor came in about several minutes later and also apologized for taking so long. Good experience with personnel, but it was well after 4:10 before I left the office. Just saying the whole experience was positive except for taking quite a long time.

Dr Henderson is a very caring, compassionate doctor. When he is examining your eyes, he instructs you exactly where to look in simple terms, which are easy to understand, so he can see what he needs. His office staff is first rate & do an excellent job, also.

I had both cataracts removed last year but I still need to see a little better. It's mostly street signs & bumper stickers. Your way of testing is so perfect - well lighted well defined - no wonder you don't think I need any vision correction - believe me the seeing conditions outside your testing cubicle are very different. My appt. was 8:45 Tues July 17th.

Dr. Oliva had a glowing recommendation when I was given an appointment with her. She did not disappoint me. She, as well as her staff, worked tirelessly with me even though I am a problem child. I have the upmost confidence in her and look forward to being able to see again.

Dr. Henderson is fantastic not only with his professional ability but he is great with explaining what was going to be done and how, answering questions. His other strong point is that he is a real people person and takes time to talk you and even giving helpful advice to my grand daughter who wants to be in the medical profession. For the most part the service and care is excellent. However, if you come in seeking help with a particular question without an appointment you could be made to wait 45 minutes just to be told the person you were waiting to speak with, who they said was there, has in fact not been in the office all day. The experience was great, everyone was friendly and the office was very clean. The only odd thing is that the doctor I saw referred me to another one of his colleagues for my follow up visit in a few months. I guess he did not like me to ask him questions. I asked him quite a few. I was recently diagnosed with a condition I do not know much about that affects my eyes and wanted to get a more in depth explanation or plan to keep symptoms minimal and slow the progression. Guess he did not like that.

I've been seeing an eye Doctor at Brandon Cataract for about 30 years. Dr. Henderson removed my mothers cataracts in 1989 or 90. When it came time for me to have mine removed I never thought of having anyone else do it. Dr. Munger repaired a torn retina after I had a stroke in 2009 & a few weeks later he removed the fat from my eyelids. I know I have the best eye surgeons!

I have a upcoming Eye Lid Surgery . From the time I checked in at the reception Desk, Seeing my Doctor , the Pretty young Lady that did my testing, to the Schedule med Lady I'll have to say I can't wait to have the procedure. Every there was so nice!

What can I say I love my Doctor. Dr Oliva is the best, so pleasant and thorough, I couldn't ask for better and she has the best staff. love you Doc and thanks for the wonderful care during my surgery and the wonderful staff at the Brandon Surgery Center

All the staff are very friendly but Dr. Oliva is amazing! She spent time with me and showed a sincere interest in helping improve my eyesight. Thanks to her skill, I'm now seeing much better!
