Ok, at this point I am at my age 67 , trying To make sure I am in the best hands,ie Dr. Bloom, Is as concerned about my Future eye vision as I could possibly be. So that give me daily confidence, To know that I am doing exactly what He recommends and the results are there , every time ...explaining to me exactly Where I am....and how to protect my VISION! Giving me more time with other Life issues.. ps. The staff are always great too, pleasant And friendly ... I would think that would Make patients more comfortable.. Think, I know!! I’m one A+ all around!! as usual!!!

From the time I called asking for medical assistance, my request was welcomed. The appointment person on the phone understood my urgency (calmed me down) and set an appointment for two hours later. Hello, the night I was in it was packed. Dr. Pritchard did a hood job getting to people as fast as he could. Cannot day enough about Carl. Truly went out of his way to be accommodating to my work schedule and fitting me properly for my glasses. Excellent customer service.

Dr. Bloom when he first learned of an eye condition I have had all my life pulled out a particular test that no other ophthalmologist had ever thought to use. And, coming from an office previously that took months to get an appointment, it never takes longer than a week to see Dr. Bloom and staff.

However, you do not take Community Choice programs that are no choice programs. I am original Medicare and don't see why you can't just take those of us an original Medicare in those programs or Bill the program directly are give me the bill and I don't know how it works frankly. But you should make it work. Tell dr. Blum I am going to pick him if he doesn't do something sensible about this for his patients. Not for profit. Even though he has to make a buck. Thank youk

Everything was great, as usual. However the wait is too long. Had a 10:15am appointment on a Saturday and didn’t get out until 12:15 or so. Two hours is a bit long for an eye exam.

As usual, the quality of care was excellent. The way of terminating treatment was very different from previous interactions in the years I have been coming. It came across as impersonal, unfriendly, and cold. There was no "good bye" after years of treatment. I respect the boundaries of a professional relationship but from my own interactions with my own patients when I had to retire, it was a friendly good bye. That good bye was different with each patient. Of course I am grieving the loss of coming to your office. I knew it was coming but I feel it was handled in a hurtful way. I am sorry it has to end that way. I know I will not get a response to this because it does not matter to your office my perception of my termination. I left feeling discarded and very sad.

I had so many problems with my eyesight a few years ago and no one was able to diagnose the problems or how to correct them. I have bumps on my cornea that get filled with fluid during allergy seaso. I also had extreme dry eyes from taking all the antihistamines. I went to Dr. Bloom first. He diagnosed the problems and what to do about them. I was then given Dr. Pesce as my doctor. She has been a life saver! I am now able to take care of my eyes so as to avoid problems.

You sent the annual reminder, and I made the appointment, then arrived on time at the agreed data. The check in was smooth, only 1 correction to a phone number on the form. The initial contact with the associate for checking my current eyeglass correction was smooth. I had an examination of my cataracts to see if I needed surgery soon, but we are in the watchful waiting mode. I probably talked too much and dominated the conversation, but the Dr. Pesce was patient in hearing me out. I look forward to the next visit, or emergency if something should happen to my eyes before the next scheduled visit next year. So I would recommend Dr. Pesce to anyone needing an eye examination, and I would say your eyesight is too valuable to skip having a period exam. Once it is gone, then it is gone for good.

Wonderful service and experience

My appointment ran about 45 minutes late before I was eventually called back. I arrived a couple minutes before my scheduled appointment, so I understand I should have gotten there about 15 minutes early, however that’s still an additional 30 minutes I sat and waited. Also the doctor I saw said he would send my prescription to the desk to be printed out, but I don’t think he ever did and that also caused slight miscommunications while I was trying to get fitted for glasses and leave. Otherwise everyone I interacted with was pleasant and helpful.

Everyone was smiling and gracious (not surly). The woman who took me back (I'm sorry but I don't remember her name. I do know she recently went to part-time) was so very efficient. The two ladies at the front desk were efficient as well and willing to help me with a request I had (without rolling their eyes first). I appreciate your staff!

Why is it that now everyone wants to be rated on everything? You did a fine job, but it is your job. I would not continue to go there if I did not like it!

When I went back to exam room the girl had someone else's chart. After about 10 minutes of incorrect answers to what she had in file I said to her, "are you sure that's my chart" and I gave her my birthdate and it turned out...... it was someone else's chart. Glad I questioned it!!!

Dr. Pesche is extremely thorough and patient in discussing my symptoms and observations and providing guidance. Many times, medical doctors will rush through a visit and be dismissive of questions. My experiences at Bloom Eye have never fallen into that pattern.

Very professional doctors, technicians, and ancillary staff. Been my preferred optometry/ophthalmology for 7 years. ONLY thing I would highly recommend to them is to improve evening hour options, especially since the one-Saturday-per-month times are seasonal and restrictive for people working above average hours weekly... I essentially can only make appointments on my days off, which is less than ideal. Having the added bonus of getting frames from Carl, who always does his best to accomodate a customer's needs, has been great!

As always real Pros at reception desk. New person did my Visual Field Test. She seemed a little stressed and not as friendly as others in the past. Perhaps it was a busy day for her. Test was conducted quickly and efficiently by her, but guess I'm used to everyone there always being more conversational. Thanks.

I really like how thorough dr. Antonella is but I was in the office for 2 hours yesterday which is too long. I'm trying an earlier appt next time to see it cuts down the time.

Unfortunately, Septa and Philly traffic kept me in route so long that I was going to be way late for the scheduled appointment- I called and rescheduled to the 28th.... sorry- I left the office 1 hour before the appointment and was still stuck in center city 50 minutes later. My scheduled test went well. I mentioned to Dr. Pesce that I noticed some deterioration in vision of one eye so we moved a scheduled exam from 1 month to 1 week to more quickly evaluate the situation.

Everyone who worked with me was efficient, friendly and informative. The man selling glasses saved me money by knowing my insurance. Plus it was quite late in the day - evening really - and no one made me feel rushed.
