I grew up in Santa Monica. My biggest influence was my father. Because of his love and passion for Eastern philosophy and medicine, I learned about healthcare options that did not require drugs or surgery.
A turning point in my life came when I experienced a serious back injury in an accident. This accident was what got me thinking about the structural alignment of the body and how it can impact my overall health.
After a surfing competition, I was on a bus filled with professional surfers and celebrities when a big rig rear ended our bus. As a result I went to a chiropractor for the first time. I asked him so many questions that he decided to mentor me and help me direct my future.
Following this experience I began looking into getting an education in chiropractic. After graduating I began my practice. It’s been 25 years now, and I am delighted to have been helpful to so many wonderful people. I have found through caring for thousands of patients that keeping the structure and alignment of the spine not only addresses pain symptoms, but most importantly it assists in the overall health of the body.
