Has been in private practice in Torrance since 1981. Dr. Hosaka has been the Chief of Optometry at Harbor-UCLA Eye Clinic since 1997. He has also served as Expert Examiner for the State Board of California. He became the 29th Optometrist in California to independently treat glaucoma in 2005. Dr. Hosaka has served as a consultant for Physiological Optics Corporation and REI. He also serves as Clinical director of Total Vision Care.Dr. Hosaka graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1980. He is licensed in California, Illinois and Arizona. Dr. Hosaka lives in Redondo Beach with his wife and 3 children. Pets include 2 orange tabby cats and salt water fish.
